I Are The Internets Shelf of Shame Host VIP - Game Host

Ok so some of you on FB probably know already, but one of my good friends from college passed away on Friday. Heart attack during a run. He was three years ahead of me, graduating my freshman year at SJU. He was always in the top 7 of our cross country team, and he was always super fit along with being a positive influence towards everybody. He's one of the reasons I stuck with cross country all four years despite being incredibly slow. This hurts guys, but he had a ton of friends and loved ones. It was really great to see my FB newsfeed the last 4 days basically devoted to my friends saying incredibly beautiful things about him.

Still, makes no ****ing sense that it happened the way he did. Again, he was a phenomenal runner and person.

I'm sorry to hear about this.

Apparently some people are born with a heart defect that does not show up until they start participating in athletics? When I taught high school, one of the football players went that way, during a training camp.

Sucks all around.
