I've been feeling the same way lately, bezzie. Just started my fourth 60 hour work week in a row, probably at least another four to go.

 

Hi besties. Speaking of autumn, the pumpkin pie blizzard is back!

 

Pumpkin flavored things (except for pie) are a bit too sweet for my liking, though I do appreciate that they exist. Maybe I'll like them more in ten years when my taste buds have dimmed?

 

I don't know,man... I'm 42, and think pumpkin flavored anything is gross.

 

Heh that reminds me that five years ago there was such a thing as root beer flavored milk.

 

pumpkin spice slurpee would probably be the worst thing.

I think pumpkin cornbread would be great! The pumpkin would make it a little more moist and it would be great with some honey or apple butter.

 

"Pumpkin spice" doesn't have any pumpkin in it, or at least not the abomination that Starbucks popularized. Ah, loosely regulated lying marketing.

 

Anything "pumpkin"-flavored you do like?

 

I kind of like pumpkin pie because my animal brain craves carbohydrates and fat, but that usually has real pumpkin in it.

Well, there's a difference between things "pumpkin spice" and "pumpkin pie" flavored, misleading as the names might be. I don't really care about Starbucks and its seasonal drink. I prefer my sugar/fat overload in semi-frozen form.

Also I like pumpkin pie and pumpkin empanadas.

 

Every year I wait to see if my favorite hookah place will add a pumpkin spice flavor, and every year I get disappointed.

 

Buddhism exists so that you can free your mind from exactly this kind of disappointment.
