SuperWatto Alan Moore is really good, it's worth persisting. Yes, he can be a bit pretentious but he's done some very good stuff.

Jedi Ben You'd think so, but things like competence, hard work, helpfulness and achieving actual results count for exactly nothing where I work. In fact, such things tend to be frowned upon. They lost one of the best managers I've ever known last year because they just didn't recognise her worth. She was the leader in her field, an inspiration to everyone who worked with her and produced really high quality work that brought in a lot of money. Sadly, bureaucracy was more important than keeping her.

To explain my mild irritation, they do pretty generous redundancy packages; enough for me to start up a small kettlebell gym. I guess I'll have to keep saving for the time being

Haha! Sadly, Diggy, while my competence is frowned upon, it's not enough to get a golden boot.

I have become lazy. I used to do loads of proactive stuff but it made people really angry so I stopped.
