    There's a ceremony on Monday that we will probably do but other than that no firm plans. We'll go the pool at least once, other than that we'll sleep in and watch TV, read books, play video games.

    I will definitely celebrate National Wine Day tonight.

    I work all the days until next Thursday, but then I get to go visit Ohio for a week! And hopefully I'll make good money because people need all the beer for Memorial Day things

    I'm going to watch King Arthur as a family activity. I'd be willing to renounce having a family but my wife says that no, I'm not. At least I remained firm when it came to Pirates 5 and Baywatch.

    The youngest boy and I inaugurated the pool today and the oldest boy and I are going to see GotG2 tomorrow.

    Looking forward to Sunday night baseball tomorrow night when I can actually stay up late enough to watch the whole game.

    Went with the fam to Greenfield Village, which is a kind of combination outdoor museum and 19th century theme park. My stepmother's toddler great nephew ("So what does that make us? Absolutely nothing!") really enjoyed the coal-burning train, the ride in the Model T Ford, and the carousel. It was nice watching him have fun. I enjoyed watching some Civil War re-enactors demonstrate period cavalry maneuvers, with guns and swords and everything. And I got a horrific sunburn because I am stupid.

    I had a dream last night that I discovered a sub-atomic particle galled the ghettron. Blasting an object with ghettrons causes it to become "ghetto." We should aim such a thing at the terrorists, and cause them to name their children things like AquaNetta. It wouldn't stop them from being terrorists, but it would make the news much more funny.

    Also, here is a poem about Memorial Day that I was going to post yesterday, but forgot about. I wrote it like 25 years ago:

    The Grinch went and stole Memorial Day, Memorial Day, Memorial Day
    The Grinch went and stole Memorial Day, with a hey nonny nonny no.
    The pools wouldn't open, the schools wouldn't close
    The banks closed regardless, from spite, I suppose.
    Old men were disgusted, the kids were depressed
    Old ladies went shopping without being dressed
