Worked last night, and I work tonight... going to make it through tonight's shift with just a tad more tobacco & caffeine than normal.

Weight-loss surgery at 7:30 am tomorrow, besties. I'm on clear liquids all day, and I can't have anything by mouth after midnight. Nervous but sort of excited, and ready to get this done.

Sorry for the double post, but just wanted to say that surgery went great. I'm on my feet walking around the unit, and easily keeping down the fistful of pills I'm supposed to be on.

Also, good drugz iz good.

ive been at work for three hours and ive no idea what ive been doing. ive got one patient and they just wanna sleep so here i am

 

it is, at times. at other times not. that's what makes it exciting, i guess.

So, my son just recovered from a cold and as I was driving him to daycare this morning, he sneezed. I dropped him at his class with dry boogers all over his face. Sigh.

 

looking back I wish I had more photos of my kids like that in real life situations. There was the time my son threw up buckets of vomit into his car seat that created a vomit fountain slowly spilling out of his car seat onto the back passenger seat then onto the floor. If I had a photo of that moment I would be so happy. Video would be even better.

A few minutes ago I was sitting in the patient lounge when an elderly couple walked by. He had a walker, she was in a hospital gown and pushing an IV pole. As they passed, he looked at her and said, "Wanna race?" lol. #relationshipgoals
