Cats are the best. Next Wednesday I have an orientation for volunteering at a cat cafe. I've been struggling with depression again, and I need to get out and do things. I figure I could do worse than to spend my time hanging out with a bunch of cats.

 

I've seen some cat cafes on youtube , and it's quite funny 'cos some of the cats are really enjoying it and others are like : ' . . . right , ok , you find me adorable , yeah , yeah , what have you bought me ? oh it's some sort of elastic thing hanging from a stick , how original , NEXT! '

Hi bezzies, so. The kids are on their iPads in a bedroom, and glummer and I are watching The Burbs, one of our faves, the sort of film we've seen a hundred times but if we happen across it on tv we'll watch to the end.

We were in fits.

I just wanted to say goodbye. I will be leaving the Boards permanently after I tie a few loose ends.

Nothing's wrong. It's just my time. I need to find firmer ground in real life, I think.
