My son was playing football about three weeks ago when some big guy fell on his leg.
"It hurt a lot," he said. Last week he played water polo in a Big 10 tournament at Purdue. He played terribly. NU lost every game.
"What's wrong, you seem a bit off," I said.
"My leg's still not 100%," he said.
"Why don't you go see a doctor?" I said. So, he did that finally today. Turns out his fibula is broken.

And our "president" is trying to chase all those healthy young people out of the ACA exchanges.

 

That sucks Rylo Ken. Trump may take our health care, but he'll never take our milk! That calcium will sew the bone together pronto, two glasses tops.

thanks! I'm sure the leg will be fine. I didn't know that a standard treatment for a broken fibula was to not treat it at all, but that's apparently the treatment the orthopedist recommended. I'm sure you know what the orthopedist charged for the visit.

Considering my nephew's dealing with a $4,000 emergency room bill for stomach problems (and he's uninjured because he refused to enroll in his workplace's health plan), I shudder to imagine what a broken leg costs.

 

You realise your son was a qualified orthopedist the entire time, and can now charge those extortionate fees himself? It beats Uber money.

 

Well knowing our medical system it was probably an arm and both legs.

 

Trump ended the subsidies so it's both arms now.
