well besties, another monday is upon us. but it's a short week! for me at least. how is everyone?

 

short week for me. I've collected the whole family for Tuesday-Sunday, so really excited about hanging with the boys. My oldest has his alumni water polo match at his old high school on Saturday. Have a couple of leftover (turkey pot pie!) gatherings with friends Friday and Saturday. Will flip between Alabama and the Northwestern-Illinois game Saturday afternoon.

Also, my youngest just qualified for 3 events at the 2018 Illinois YMCA State Swimming Championship. It's not too soon to book your hotel rooms for the weekend of March 10 in St. John, Indiana, just south of the lovely towns of Hammond and Gary. I'm kidding. Those towns are ****holes.

Congrats on the hamster! I had a hamster once, it bit my finger shortly after I bought it and I was dripping blood all over the car seat. My dad wasn’t amused.

I got a short week too! We’re going on a road trip tomorrow to visit friends and spend thanksgiving over at their house. After that we’ll go to the Ren Fair.

I do have Wednesday & Thursday night's off this week, so Thanksgiving plans can be fully enjoyed, however... following last night's 2-truck delivery, tonight & tomorrow will also be 2-truck nights. So that's a week+ of normal freight flow, etc, over the span of 72-hours. Good ******* grief.

 

Yeah, I got cats now and I think cat bites are preferable. Mind you, no bites at all would be ideal but they’re kind of unavoidable at this point. What with the cats and the teething child at home.

 

Cookie has yet to bite me and I've had her for seven years.
