I was standing next to the 14 year old this morning when I realized we were looking each other in the eyes at level. The kid is nearly 6 feet tall. I don't know how that happened or when, particularly since he made that out of nothing but Tostitos and "red" flavored Gatorade.

The 12-year-old is currently about an inch shorter than me. I’ve been expecting to reach my height for several months now and he’s getting closer but not there yet. He’s a healthy vegetarian; maybe he needs to eat more Tostitos.

Hey besties, how's everyone coping with Daylight Saving Time? Surprisingly, I'm not exhausted.

Also, happy 15 year TFN anniversary to me. I should have had a kid back in 2003. I'd have someone to take with me to the movies that might actually like Star Wars.

happy 15 years tony! unsurprisingly, i am exhausted. also i had to go back to getting up in the dark. wtf is up with that? i feel like someone really jumped the gun on daylight savings time this year.

I had to get up at 5:30 a.m. on Sat. and 5:30 a.m. on Sunday to drive the 14 year old an hour to the YMCA IL state championships. Needless to say, that Sunday a.m. drive was a lot harder.

The good news: his medley relay team came in 5th place in state, and his freestyle relay team came in 4th place.

Also: congrats Tony!

Congrats @TiniTinyTony , does it surprise you you're still here?

The hour forward didn't seem to effect me too much. It was only just starting to lighten up a bit when I get to work at 5:45. I do like seeing it stay lighter at night though.

Got off work an hour early because of the time change, but because it was the end of a work week, didn't mind losing a small amount of pay to get an early start on my weekend.

I run in the morning and I now have to run in the dark. So I’m not thrilled with “springing forward.”

Running in the evening is not an option because once I get off work, my response to the idea of putting on running shoes and hitting the pavement is “LOLwut?”
