I'm definitely struggling with the time change Had to close the bar Saturday and by time I got to bed it was what would have been 2 AM but was instead 3 AM and then had to be back early-ish in the morning to do orders. I'm still so sleeeepyyyyyy

Yes and no. Mostly surprised that it's been 15 years. I loved the wild west that was the 3SA and I've been hanging around ever since.

 

Snowing here in Maine also. That’s pretty typical March weather, though it is a lot of snow. I don’t think I’m going anywhere tomorrow. At least the power is still on.

 

We just did a marathon one day--he laughed his ass off at all the right things, all on his own. No explanation was necessary; any four year old can figure out it sucks.

Found out during last night's shift that the transition to the 4am-process will begin at my store on April 9th, so the last overnight shift for us will be on the 7th. Bummed out by this... though I'm going to give this 4am thing a try for some time, I'll eventually look for another overnight job elsewhere.

 

The daylight spring forward didn't bother me on Monday or yesterday, but this morning it caught up with me. Three days into moving the clocks an hour ahead made me very sleepy this morning. Beside waking up an hour early, going to bed an hour early is not that easy either.

I wouldn't worry about the 4AM start time. Denny's is open 24/7 and you can go straight to the blood bank after work.

Plus, with the time difference, you'll probably be getting up about the time I leave for work, so I could give you a wake up call every morning.

"Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey! t's time to get up, it's time to get up, it's time to get up in the moooorning." My kids have come to loathe hearing those words, but I put it down to their bad taste.

 

Going to feel the need to have eggs everyday.

so this happened yesterday. Utter chaos. My son was on lockdown at the university's gym for an hour. We tracked the Evanston police twitter feed until they declared they had found no evidence of a shooter or crime scene or victim.
