my cat's just come in and I can smell shake'n'vac on him (he usually stinks of piss ) and we don't use shake'n'vac , where's he been ? he's been cheating on me .

 

Oh hey bezzies! I'm back from a little getaway in the town of Forest Hill, Maryland. My sister in law Julia got married to her fiance Joe. The wife and I took off work Friday to head down for all rehearsal actives in preparation for the ceremony on Saturday. It was a pretty hot 90 degree day, but thankfully the actual ceremony was only about 15-20 minutes in the sun and the rest of the time was spent in a refurbished air conditioned barn.

The most memorable part was during the mother/son dance. Joe's mother passed away years ago, so he danced with his sister while a slide show played with old pictures of their mother and him. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.

Drinking and dancing filled the rest of the evening. I was grateful to have one of the pregnant bridesmaids to be our DD. It was a really fun weekend.

The best part was taking off Monday to recoup, relax, and play some God of War.

I think you should hire a pirate investigator instead. He won't find out where your cat went, but if you beat him up you might be able to take his treasure and his rum.

 

It'd be neat if there were clear skies for only a few hours a day. Then the rest of the time cloudy or overcast.

 

Some of us enjoy all day sunshine (under the right temperature conditions)

 

When I take control of the weather, you'll have to work past that.

You rang? I'm sitting at the airport in D.C. I thought I was on a 6:25 flight, but when I checked in, my boarding pass said the flight is at 9 pm. I'm not sure how I ****ed this up.

There was a steady stream of thunder for about 45+ minutes earlier today in the section of The Valley where my Target is at, which made the end of the shift nicer, more exciting. Doesn't take much in retail.

 

Today is the day my oldest son moves to New York for his New Job and his New Life. I'm trying not to be sad cause I'm so proud of my baby, who's now so old he doesn't even bother to roll his eyes at me when I call him my baby. He has no time even for parental scorn anymore. How I long for just a bit of scorn.

Adopt me, too. As well as scorn, I'll also throw in some withering dismissiveness.

 

I still have a fourteen year old at home. I get that still plus hormonal rage and biting sarcasm.
