Is the Forces of Destiny spec based on anything concrete or just the fact that we don't know what that title refers to yet? An animated show would make sense given all the merch the copyright is attached to.

Fearing that the identity of a rebel spy will soon be discovered by the Empire, the Rebels launch a plan to rescue him before he is caught.

the rebel spy is Kallus. Will be interesting to see how Ezra escapes and what happens to Kallus. Will he frame Konstantine? Will he escape with the Rebels? Will he die?

What if Vader kills Kallus for betraying the Empire???!

 

Vader has been confirmed to not show up in S3. If he does (doubt it) it's most likely in the S3 finale.

this pic is interesting because the "cops" are the 3 sitting down. And the 2 standing are the most likely suspects for Rebel spy. It's why I said if Kallus stays it's only possible if he either frames Konstantine or if Konstantine dies. Even Konstantine dying might make him the likely suspect Otherwise Kallus either runs or dies.

 

I predict Kallus and his epic sideburns will join the rebels.

That looks a lot like the bar from Showdown on the Smugglers Moon. There's even a Zabrak bartender. Maybe it is the same bar.

But yes, I'm wondering if they kept them a mystery because they don't know yet what known characters to include in the future books, or because there is a reason to hold off the reveal. I know I can't wait for inevitable the Grand Admiral vs the Supreme Leader book.
