wow, so another tv show now also with new characters.....this is .......I think I'm now speechless

 

Thing is, Anakin and Obi-Wan were reconciled by the end of episode 2 so there is no contradiction. By the end of episode 2, he's past the murder of the sand people and his hatred towards Obi-Wan. It's at least better than this. Just because we hadn't seen his heroic side before doesn't mean that it wasn't there. Either way, it's at least better than this.

I hope Filoni won't be involved with this new series. Get some fresh blood in there.

 

Can't wait for this tv show. Had enough of Rebels.

 

If they do it GoT style or even Arrow style on the low end I️ would be over the moon

It doesn't have to be one or the other, he could do both. I don't think he will be in charge of it but that doesn't mean he couldn't write and direct a few episodes every seasons.

 

Legends of Luke Skywalker actually gives us quite a bit of information about Luke. The biggest takeaway, aside from his compassionate nature, is his continued difficulty trusting the Force without him directing it. It's a good bet that flaw contributed a lot to how he ended up in the state Rey finds him.

He and the Clone Wars benefited from having Lucas. Rebels, has just never lived up to that.

 

to be fair, Rebels had a much more stringent window to work within, since its set during the start of the OT era, we knew very little about the clone wars except, all the Jedi died and there were clones involved. Rebels is a neat little story but I can't see how it impacts films, movies moving forward like clone wars unless Ezra becomes a Player moving forward.

 

Also lets not pretend that TCW didn't have it's fair share of, not great moments to go along with all of the good ones.

Also the premises behind both of them were very different as well.

 

Part of me wants to add Vader but I have way to many books cause DC Rebirth has just been amazing.

 

Man, with a new trilogy on the way AND a TV series, all I can say is this:

It's a great time to be a Star Wars fan.
