Remember that Dagobah was also said to be very strong with the Force. I think it would make a good choice as well, and it has the added benefit of connecting to the previous films.

 

Plus it has that handy cave out back for midterm examinations.

 

I just started watching the Clone Wars series, just finished the first season last night. I love it. Good, simple stories and they make Anakin awesome man we all imagined that he was before the prequels came out. Not the whiny kid with no common sense that the prequels portrayed him to be. The shows feel like Star Wars. I can't wait for Rebels.

Oh, and I can't wait to start Season 2 tonight. I'm sure its only going to get better.

Indeed, but even some of the earliest episodes "Rookies" 'The Ryloth Trilogy" from Season one are fantastic, and I love 'the Deserter' from 2... it really helped tie the PT together so nicely so I have high hopes that 'Rebels' will find its feet quickly.

 

Can't wait to see fan reaction when TCW is thrown out and is not cannon anymore.

 

TCW was made to be canon from day 1. What makes you think that it will be tossed?

 

It is canon - movies, Rebels and TCW.

 

When TPTB feel like it is a good idea to return to the era and not behold themselves to what came before. The Micro-Series was so 2005, TCW will be so 2014 soon enough. Clone War era movies will be here soon enough and they won't behold themselves to TCW.

Just preparing myself for the outrage of the fans who actually believe that TCW will be cannon forever. Not buying it.
We will see how much they care about their cannon in 10-15-20 years.
Believe what you want but they'll do what they like soon enough and if a 3rd Clone Wars series as well.

Out of curiosity, what are you doing to "prepare"? Are you constructing some sort of shelter?

 

Been there, done that with the EU. More practical to expect this change so I'm disappointed (not that I will be that much, aside from Hondo) when it actually does happen.

 

The word is "canon". And we just got through a heated debate about TCW and canonicity in the "Who's the Baddie?" thread. Granted, it would have been more on-topic in this thread, but the point remains: we do NOT need another endless canon argument.

 

I am now midway through season 2. Rookies is one of the best Star Wars related pieces of entertainment that I have ever seen.

Dagobah is definitely among the strongest candidates. I'm picturing Luke sending people into the cave. In fact, before TPM was released, there was speculation that it was the headquarters of the prequel-era Jedi.

 

I wonder if Nightsisters can become Force Ghosts.

I don't think they can based on what was said in the Yoda arc. Talzin could've used an illusion or a different power similar to
