Read Vader down #1 (did just realize that the first issue is a separate magazine than Vader and SW series ). Some more hints about a possible location for Luke's academy:

- hmmmm, maybe yes or maybe not, but could Vrogas Vas be Jakku? The ground of this planet is not clearly visible, maybe to hide it a little.
- so in the opening Vader fights 3 squadrons of X-Wings and destroys most of them
- Luke is there as well with his X-Wing and is ready to kill himself. He makes a kamikaze attack and crashes into his Tie fighter.
- They both crash on Vrogas Vas and survive. Vader is surrounded by rebel ground forces and is doing some force unleashed stuff.
- Luke's crashed X-Wing has the exact same visible position than the crashed X-Wing in front of the crashed Star Destroyer in Teaser 2!!! (I really mean it and it lays in exactly the same position, a coincidence? )
- When Luke + R2 leave the crashed X-Wing they are nearby the ruins of a Jedi temple, which has rocks and it looks like the place from the trailer, when Luke touched R2
- so Vrogas Vas could be very interesting and I can't wait for the next part of this story

 

next weeks episode looks great and will be a great way to kick off My Thanksgiving Weekend but I did not think last Wednesday episode was all that bad, yes it might have been the worst of the season but it was still a fun way to spend my Wednesday night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can anyone on here tell me if Battlefront Twilight Company is worth a Read before the movie comes out? and do you have to have knowledge of the game to really get it, I plan to eventually get a Playstation 4 and the Battlefront Game hopefully before the new year is up but I dont have it yet saving up the funds....

To be honest, I couldn't get past the first 100 pages. Most on the boards seem to love it, but I found myself really not caring about the characters, and the story seemed to meander.

 

I read Lost Stars and Weapon Of A Jedi on the recommendation of people on here and I loved Lost Stars and really liked Weapon Of A Jedi so I Think I will give Battlefront a try...

 

The cover for "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku" is at least six different kinds of cool, and a huge percentage of that coolness is down to the deliciously pulpy title.

I found Leia weilding a lighstaber to be pretty awesome, actually.

omg. you know, they're trying harder to show anyone can use a saber.

 

yeah in this storyline even a non force sensitive 'Gamemaster' trained Luke for a fight in the arena.

 

well i've always said anyone can use a saber. gl said it too. it's probably to show that and to show some kind of saber action in a time when only luke used one. still better than the eu where everyone had a kid, grandkid, etc named after someone previous who are jedi then sith, etc.

if anything it seems tfa is making lightsaber use even more mythical.

 

Of course anyone can use a saber - it's a sword. To use it well, or against blaster fire or a saber wielding dark sider, you want the Force.

 

This. A lightsaber is just a sword. It is poorly balanced due to the weightless blade and it cauterizes the wounds it inflicts so its a pretty crappy sword for dueling, but its still a sword. Nobody seemed to complain with Pre Vizsla carrying a lightsaber all the time. Or Grievous.

Anyone can use it. Probably even R2 can. You just don't depict a character using a lightsaber all the time unless he is a jedi or a renowned Jedi killer. Three guesses which one Finn is and the first two don't count.

 

i don't like this at all i had hopes for the new EU but the more i read the more i think i'll stick to my head canon: only the movies...
