yeah, but it was funny that the scoundrel Han Solo reminded Leia that it was this blonde hero that saved her life once. And Leia did not even react worried 1 time after hearing that Luke was shot down (exactly the opposite of Han).

 

Well, this is the same person who shouted at Han on Yavin 4 for chosing life over suicide. You got to wonder how many wide-eyed boys like Luke she saw die for the cause. She is a hardass is what I am saying. Only later does she soften up a bit.

in the Battlefront novel, the overall callousness of Command comes through. I mean its tough NOT to be affected when you're sending thousands of beings to their death every day. I can understand Leia and command compartmentalizing their minds and not looking at the numbers like people but just pieces on a Dejark board, or else you'd break down-I know I would.

 

Lost Stars so far reads like several bad fanfictions rolled into one. It even has a ball with pretty dresses for hells sake. The characters are flat and one of them an insult to anyone suffering from Asperger's.

Maybe I should read the new Battlefront novel or the short story about Bazine instead.

 

So apparently HK-47 is indeed canon again. This makes me very happy. I wonder if this extends to his builder as well.

 

I'm not familiar with much of the EU (or legends), but I expect them to use some of characters that fans enjoyed. Especially considering when Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, they had over 17,000 characters in their property.

Thank you! I'm rather over the Anakin-Luke comparisons, the Padme-Leia(-Rey) comparisons. (I hope we never see Rey with those hairbuns!) I want to see what Leia inherited from her father, and Luke from his mother. I like that Leia is a hard-ass, like her pops. And Luke def has his mother's compassion.

Anyway, in Vader 13, Leia says, "What's the situation, captain?" But I can't help reading it in Grievous' voice.

"Bring Lord Vader a couple more yellow-haired ones to make up for the loss. He'll get over it."

That vision Luke had of OW and Anakin, much feels. I hope this connects to their series.

 

I see with that Disney Infinity trailer that they're keeping up tradition and revealing a character's first bits of dialogue via toys.

Carrie sounds great though. Exactly what I'd hope for in an older Leia.

 

if you like military novels then I say go for it, there is a cameo of a certain 'freight pilot'. Its set between Ep 4 through Ep5 .

Honest answer: We sure did, HK.
Interesting Trivia: HK-47 the obsolete unit simply says Query or Statement. It cannot convey emotions like the more advanced models.

First I was grinning, then I was giggling madly! Love it! Everyone was awesome, whether it's Vader, Han, Triple-Z or Aphra. Damn, how will I bear waiting for the next issue?

Read Kanan #7 and #8 today and was a nice read. Interesting how they treated master Billaba, after she failed in a mission and lost most of her soldiers. As a 'damage good'. I wonder if this is a hint for TFA.

 

That's really cool. I would like to see of him in the future.

 

Finished listening to the audio book of 'Perfect Weapon':

-this was indeed a little mysterious story
-so could the steel box contain the lightsaber?
-Was the cloaked figure hiring Bazine either Luke or Snoke? Hmmm
-it was also talked about a long game being in place
-the way the old strmtrooper spoke about the New Republic and if this is really freedom was also very intriguing
-all in all a nice story and I wonder how it ties into TFA

I'd say definitely Snoke; Luke wouldn't be using trickery and pitting people against each other like that. Also, the author went out of her way to describe just how much you CAN'T see him. SHe probably wasn't even allowed to know
