New Category - Inactive Forums

No new forums, nothing earth-shattering, I?ve just been doing some housekeeping.

I?ve created a new ?Inactive Forums? category. It should be visible right above the Administration category. It?s going to be used as a place to put inactive forums (the name didn?t give it away, did it? ), to keep them from cluttering up other categories.

The initial occupants are the Big Brother forum and the Literature Poll forum. They?re locked off so no one can post in them, but visible to anyone who wants to see them.

 

I guarantee that some sort of drama will erupt from this administrative decision.

Just you wait!

Like sith you were. And if you can figure out a way for me to do it, I'll e-mail you all the threads that were in that forum, along with the forum listing the way it appeared 4/4/02.

 

Yeah, since we deleted the Fake Mod Squad, it can't be put in that category. However, the threads still live on. All you have to do is click on the "Latest Posts" of a mod or member who posted in the Fake Mod Squad. In the drop-down menu above that user's posts, select the "/" board. That'll give you a link to all the Fake Mod Squad threads that the member posted in.

For example, here's a link to all the ones I posted in.

Interesting, I had never looked at that drop-down menu before. What's the THX-1138 forum for?

This is sick. Classifying these forums as inactive is slander, and I demand justice! How dare you just assume that the JC is fine with this decision I am so angry with you guys..
I'm leaving the JC because of this. There is no way I can just get on with my internet life life a normal person. Bravo, JC.

Thanks for the new category, Gandolf; it's nice to see that forums belong where they should go.

Regarding the fake Mod Squad, I don't think that Kadue actually deleted the entire forum. Instead, it seems to me that he deleted the index page of that forum instead, which means that the threads belong nowhere in particular. Which is quite a pity

 

Just a slight problem, when I click on the Star Wars films link from the Miscellaneous forum it comes up with the Inactive forums catagoy...
