New Census Tournament -- Super Heroes -- Nominating

Please post your cominations/suggestions in this thread. Out of respect for your fellow posters, do not nominate more than 4 in one post, and do not post back to back. (if you do so, your nominations will be edited or ignored) Give other people a chance to nominate too!

The nominations will stay open for a few days, but will likely be closed after the first 64 suggestions. It is possible that it will be extended to 128.



Rules for nominations:

-It must be a super hero! This means they have to save people, and have to be better than a normal person. I don't want to say that they have to save super powers, as batman is clearly a super hero, yet has no magical powers. If you wish to nominate someone considered borderline, posting a sentence or two as an arguement for your suggestion will be helpful.
-Hero MUST be fictional.
-Heroes can be nominated from any genre or source, but to give your nomination the best chance for the win, it is best to pick a hero most users would be familiar with.
-Any nominations considered borderline will be left to my judgement as to whether or not they will be used.
-If people post duplicate nominations, it is alright, they will just be ignored.
-There is no limit to how many you can nominate as long as you follow the two rules: do not nominate more than 4 in one post, and do not post back to back nominations.
