Those shots look great! Remind me alot of your first movie Showdown on Coruscant, which of course is a good thing. I liked that movie!

All those pictures look amazing! A HUGE improvement over Showdown on Coruscant, which I thought was really cool to begin with.

hey man those rocks. I really liked Showdown also. Is the Jango CG or a suit?

 

Thanks for the response, people! The only cg Jango in those shots is the one on the swoop bike. The rest are me in costume.

The screenshots look great! The Jango suit is very convincing, as the CGI shots are some of the best that I've seen. Having enjoyed SoC, I'm certain this shall be another great film. I can already see some graphical improvements from the shots. My only wonder is how the ships shall look animated. That was my only complaint with your first film in how they turned around and the like. There's just one thing that gets to me though, and that is seeing the sun flare in the top Coruscent shot.

Perhaps there could be some heavy lighting in that area, but I kind of see it unnecessary when it is night out. Just a minor complaint though. Perhaps you can prove me wrong on that too.

How long until we get that film to sink our teeth into?

If it is as good as those photos make it seem, we are certianly in for a treat!

 

The film is due to hit in early summer with a teaser trailer to be out at the beginning of the year. The ships are indeed animated much better this time around. In fact, all of the animation is better. I brought everything I learned from working on SOC to this one. The lense flare in the top pic is from passing ships, but it happens very quickly in the moving film and isn't quite as noticable.

Wow, those stills are quite impressive. I am really impressed with the blue or greenscreening with the Jango actor. Pretty cool. Oh, and what 3D app do you use?

Very very good stuff. I still haven't got to see Showdown on Coruasant (I can't spell it, so sue me). I plan to watch it next week when I go back to college. Also, that's awesome to get to dress up like Jango. How did you get such an excellent costume? And perhaps in my spare time, you would allow me to do a couple of matte painting backgrounds. Take note, ONE OR TWO. I don't want to work on the whole film...ha ha. But you film looks quite good, and I've heard good things about the other one. Best of luck on your venture.
