New Galaxies Expansion

I didnt see a thread for this so I thought I would start one.

I dont have Galaxies so I dont know how much this matters.

 

I'm probably the biggest defender of SWG on the JC

but somehow that's... cheap. Lame. Of all the things, Obi-Wan?

There better be something for non-Jedi to do in this expansion, it's not fair if only Jedi toons get to enjoy it!!!

 

Meh, not only am i sick of the game and how repetative it has gotten, i am incredibly sick of endless expansions.

Looks like the 'Total Experiance' is actually not the 'Total' Experiance.

Bullcrap.

They are getting enough cash as it is, its time for them to start having these 'Expansiosn' as free updates.

 

I'm glad I haven't gotten Galaxies yet.

OMG. (Covers face in horror) NOOOOOOOO. I think this is yet another worthless peice of ****'in **** money making expansion. I bought SWG:JTL:ROTW and i quit, and now more?! The only good expansion was JTL!

This is what expansion number 4? And why the hell does Obi-Wan even care about Mustafar? THERE IS NOTHING THERE.

Didn't you hear there is no dark or light? A player embraces both sides, just like you all have to embrace all 3 expansions and the game itself for what it is.

 

No, there's this one other guy in the Galaxies thread that has a few nice things to say


and don't expect SWG to make too much SW-sense

but it has its moments

 

Will they finally allow Ewok PCs? I won't be happy until I can be 1 meter and 40 kilos of fur and beligerance.

Have they done the smuggler revamp they've been promising since day one yet?

I hate the people who make that game, it's ruined and they're greedy. Especially because they don't seem to care that their changes are making people leave the game. Instead they just make you pay more money in the long run by buying expansions

 

I actually think that first screenshot with Obi-Wan looks really cool, that sort of thing would get me more interested in Galaxies I wonder when Yoda will turn up

Let's have an expansion that benefits ALL the players, not just "uber" powerplayers who have successfully grinded Jedi.

Entertainers and Craftsmen have had 0 real "expansion" material to their existing professions since launch.

 

entertainers got new dances and songs, and are a hell of a lot better than they were, as their buffs have been improved somewhat

Smugglers just get nerfed all the time, why couldn't they just stick feign death at the top when u reach master smuggler, it was only padawans and PVP-ers abusing it.

 

I like how Obi-Wan's ghost has his Episode I/Episode II lightsaber in that screenshot and not his Episode III/Episode IV lightsaber.

 

A few weeks ago the Devs pretty much came out and said they're not going to do a Smuggler Revamp.


They said that for the time being they are only going to focus on fixing what's already in the game rather then adding new content.(Funny, the following week they annouced the next expansion).

They also said that when they do decide to work on Smugglers there will not be a massive overhaul just a few fixes.

They considered the Combat Upgrade to be a overhaul of the way Smuggler works. The only significant changes Smugglers will see is a glorfied delivery mission. "Take this from Point A to Point B, and fight NPCs along the way" type thing.


They're hoping that all the Smugglers will forget that they've been promised a revamp for the past two years.

 

Sounds like playing a hand full of the XWA scenarios over and over again. Though I'm sure you won't have as much 'control'.

 

SOE suck the big ones then, its official, and they're beyond redemption in my eyes. I hope all the smugglers leave, and when everyone complains about not getting armor and weapons sliced, they'll do soemthing about it then

 

One good thing-that gaint Scorpion thing from the episode 3 art book.
