Its not Corran.
I say it's Luke
but you already won, didn't you?
Let someone else win.
plus, I need the book,too.
hey I know I won, I can win again if I want to, I'm just guessing that it's Luke. I don't really have a damn clue as to what else is involved in the quote
Uhhhh Luke in SoTE breaking out of prison after being captured. If I remember correctly. But that is a big if.
ding ding ding ding! You got it OWLC! It was Luke in Shadows of the Empire!
Bonus chocolate chip cookies if you can tell me the exact quote. j/k
"Luke ran at the injured shooter, hit him with his shoulder in passing, and knocked him sprawling.
As the swoopers had been, the Nikto also was more adept at cursing than he was at shooting.
Doors began to open into the hallway, and armed bounty hunters, most of them dressed for sleep, emerged.
He was in for it now.
He swung his lightsaber and tried to cut a path to freedom."
I have my moments of brillance
ok here is my qoute.
There was a whisper of momvement, felt rather than heard over the sound of the river, as ************ sat down beside him. "Its not enough, is it?" the ******* asked quietly. "This place. The ******* call it our future. But it is not."
oh my GOd, I know that one! ::forces herself to stay put and let someone else answer::
joins Elori in keeping her mouth shut, as well.
That's Luke and one of the Noghri (I want to say Khabarak (sp?)), on Hognoghr, in the book The Last Command. Luke's power cells are almost depleted, and he goes to Hognoghr to get them replaced. They take him to their secret land reclamation project. That's where he is at that time.
So, um, can we get some confirmation/rejection here?
up up and away...
Yes you are correct. Next!!!!
Okay, my quote... hmmmm... gimme a minute...
*flips through books*
*flips some more*
"#########, now you're acting like a kid."
"No, I'm not. I'm acting like someone whose best friend has completely forgotten she exists."
"Is it? When you left the Academy with *********, did you even bother to say good-bye? And since then, have you sent me a single message, or even reached out in the Force? And just a while ago, when we did our old falling dance--you didn't like it. I almost had to catch myself!"
"You're the one who resisted," @@@@ said. "We were falling like rocks, and you resisted me."
"That was you, you big dumb gundark."
"That's crazy. You--" But the whole scene flashed suddenly through his mind again. Maybe it had been him. When he and ######### worked together it was sometimes hard to tell who was feeling what.
"See?" she said frostily.
I know that one, yeah.
It's Anakin and Tahiri in Conquest.
Yup, you got it. Your turn.
okay, here I go
"You can learn alot from **** *********. It may be part of being a Jedi, but he seems to work a lot from his feelings. You work primarily in your brain. Thinking all the time is definately you, &&&&&&, and was very useful back in CorSec, but I think you'll need to open up more with this training."
&&&&&& nodded slowly, "You're probably right. I guess we'll see how long it takes for old habits to die."
@@@@@ rolled her eyes. "That means you'll be a Jedi, what, about the time the sun turns Nova?"
There's atleast one dead give away buried in there.
Looks to me as if it's Mirax and Corran talking in Bacta War (the beginning I think) about whether or not Corran should train under Luke.
Not Quite Jansons_Funny_twin. But you do have one character right, and what the conversation's about, but the other conversant is wrong and Bacta War isn't the book it's from.
I do believe that it's from I, Jedi, and it's Iella talking to Corran. They were in that restaurant. Iella had just helped Corran get the hair dyeing thing straightened out. He was trying to eat the roast gornt.
One of the speakers is a woman. I think I know who it is, but I'm not saying anyhting.
Mara and Corran from I, Jedi?
It's Iella talking to Corran in I, Jedi.
EDIT: And the page # is 79.
I edited. See above posting.
Ah, then the victory belongs to you, SECRETSISTER, since you beat me by one minute if I'm not mistaken.
But I posted my reply before I read your edited one, so I think I deserve the "silver medal" or something.
