Montréal New Icon for MUK

Personnally, I think the icon should scream who we are.

Unfortunately, I don't feel it in this icon. I only see Luke. We would dissapear in the mass.

The current icon has the strenght of not being easy to mistake for something else.

For example, the stadium is fairly well associated with Montréal, just like the CN tower for Toronto.

Montréal is also famous for it smoke meat. That's a weird thought, a smoke meat icon. May the swartz be with you!!

Originality is just as good.

I understand. I chose you because he was trained as a Jedi in secret thus underground. I ope you didn't miss the metro in the background because it the symbol of montreal undergound lifestyle.

 

I agree with the need for originality... Let's take an example : Cleveland. When I saw their icon... ewww... They are the "Cleveland Jedi Knights", and their icon is a bunch of lighsabers on a black background, if I remember correctly.

I liked the SithClan one. Simple, and as space dragon said, it was Montreal and only Montreal. So maybe we could wait for some kind of logo to be created and use that ?

 

Actually, I did miss it. I wondered what it was.

The subway is a good idea. You should drop Luke and try to bring subway to the foreground. Montreal subway are specifics enough in their colors.

Maybe changing STCUM with MUK.

Nice, but representing a building falling in pieces... ehhe, j/k, I like it, change the colors for blue-white and red and we should be ok.. hehe

Still sayin' we need a hockey stick in there... or a puck.. uhm... muk, puck...

UHm... a stormtrooper, instead of his helmet, put a goaltender's mask...

 

Okay for hockey being a religion in montreal, but I doubt that it will stand out. They are the storm trooper helmet and hockey mask are too alike to be effective.

In the same idea, the canadians colors could be used in the stadium colors. Instead of being all blue or red.
