New Indiana Jones Banner Submissions

With Indiana Jones 4 on the way it's time we had some new banners to celebrate. I am announcing an open banner call for new submissions to decorate our board in the months leading up to the film's premiere. Banners selected to grace our board will be put in a rotation along with our current banner so the other LucasFilm productions will still be represented.

Rules and Regulations:
Banner Guidelines can be found in the Official Banner Makers Thread
The guidelines must be followed.

Content:
The banners must focus on the Indiana Jones series only. Banners can draw on anything from the films and the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. The preferred emphasis will be on the film series, specifically Indy 4, but anything Indy related will be more then welcomed.

I don't know clue 1 about making banners. That said I can't wait to see what some come up with!

I assume we aren't allowed to include any pics from Indy IV, though, right?

Hmm... I might take a stab at this. It's been a while since I made a banner, but maybe I'll try again. Do you have a deadline Gobi?

And will the colour scheme stay the same as it is (in other words, should we try to match our banners to this scheme)?

No you can use photos from Indy 4, as long as they're not spoilerish. There is no deadline. If you have a different color scheme in mind go for it.

 

There's no rule that says I can't submit new banners.

Here's my submission. I didn't know how to edit the CSS, so I kept it the same.

All the years represent a major movie, that George made.

1967- THX-1138 @ USC
1973- American Graffiti
1977- Star Wars
1981- Raiders of the Lost Ark
1986- Howard the Duck, everyone's favorite
1988- Willow
1994- Radioland Murders, not a super major one but it did have a lot of CG techinques used now
1999- Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
2008- Indiana Jones IV

Hmm, just a thought... it kind of looks like you're implying that Indy IV will be a lowpoint for Lucasfilm

Ok, so this is turning out to be pretty tough since we only have one official picture... I am wondering how Indy IV heavy this is really supposed to be since that's kind of hard to do right now?

I didn't mean to, but I wanted to show all of the major Lucasfilm projects. I'll add some images to spice it up a bit.

 

There's plenty of photos from the New Haven shoot and you can always make screencaps of the videos from IndianaJones.com.

 

Do you want this to have a lot of references to Indy IV? Anyway I'll some pictures.

 

Anything Indiana Jones related is welcomed. If you want to make a Temple of Doom or a Young Indy banner go for it. The requirements are very broad, Indy 4 is preferred since that's where the main focus of the board will be, but anything Indy is fine. It's all right there in the first post.

 

Yeah, I was thinking of making caps from the official videos, though those are likely to be quite blurry.

Here's an update, I added two pictures from Indy 4. The motorcycle photo isn't spoilerish, is it?

 

Wow. I'm new here, I just registered and read through this thread but yeah, wow, that's a great design. I think that one all the way!

 

Arg, I was in the middle of working on mine before Comic Con. I'm still not going to be home for a couple more days. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it... well now I have a few more images to work with from the teaser posters, too

We finally have a new banner up. Just something I threw together using the new title and images from IndianaJones.com. Tyi-Maet_Nefer designed the style sheet to go along with the banner. I think he did an excellent job.
