The new info is that some fansites are pretty damn shameless about misleading headlines and reposting old info for new hits.
And some magazines, too. WIRED really lets me down because the headlines never exactly match up to what actually is, but you can't say that they are lying, either.
The article is old news, and makes no claim about Mark and Carrie that hasn't already been said elsewhere. Because you made a new thread about it, people shot it down. Not the response you were expecting? Next time use the search function or simply take part more and you'll have an idea of what has already been talked about. Run along to another forum if you must, but you won't fid a better one than this, IMO. Nobody was making a personal 'hate' attack on you.
True. Although, ironically enough, it was at WIRED where I first saw about the Disney purchase and Episode 7. Big fat letters saying EPISODE 7 IN 2015! And holy ****, the text said exactly that. Hahah.
It's nice of you to want to share and the idea of Mark, Carrie and Harrison appearing sends me into fits of delight, but if you had taken a moment to first have a look around, you'd wind up seeing that this was already reported and discussed here ad infinitum. I don't think it was meant as anything personal. edit: looks as though eidolon has beaten me to it.
Can't say what other people's motivations are Vastor, but I have come across some jerks on these boards.
Those of us who have been through this whole thing a bunch of times know not to post things as confirmations which are really just speculation, not sure why you would feel aggrieved ?
To add to Lando Rocks' conveyance... we have been here for years and have witnessed thousands of closed/redundant threads. We are glad you are excited, but we kinda like our boards and don't want our server to die of congestive heart failure. We are glad you're here, I suppose... but, please try small things like reading the sticky at the top of the main Ep VII page to see which topics are already beaten to death before we even have a single detail about the film, aside from a writer and release year...
This is old news, but I do like the mention of Brad Bird . Surprising that Han Solo isn't mentioned in that article.
