Okay, Thanks. It's just like all of a sudden they had to to say "Oh yeah, Vergere was a Sith." Don't like that little plot at all, but I guess we're stuck with it.

 

I dont like the all of the dark jacen and everything about it. I was hoping he was going to come back from his journey and be like a merlin type character. Able to show luke sometricks and stuff. But noooo. They had to make him go dark. Smh.

 

Jacen going dark I don't like.

Crazy Chicken turning out to be a Sith...that I was perfectly okay with. Though I realize I'm very much in the minority there.

 

Yeah, that was one of the things that bugged me. Even though I dislike Crazy Chicken, everything she put Jacen through meant he should have been able to recognize going dark, and what that meant. Sadly, it didn't turn out that way.

 

That's probably what bothers me the most about the Vergere Sith thing. I don't see where she had what it took to be Sith. A user of the Dark Side, sure. Sith, no way. Jacen's fall was a mistake, but I guess we're stuck with that too.

Everything she taught him in traitor seemed pretty Sith-like.

 

The bit I thought most closely paralleled the Sith "There is only passion: through passion I gain strength, through strength I gain power" was:

Yeah, that pretty much is a Sith statement she made there.

 

I suppose some of the "greyer" Dark Jedi- like Brakiss, who teaches that both sides of the Force need to be used if you wish to maximise your potential, might make similar statements. Still, it is pretty suggestive.

 

Kyle Katarn taught his students that "Abilities don't matter, it's how you use them".

Still, to my mind, the most telling point in favour of Vergere was when she was perched in that tree being hunted by bird-eating snakes - and all she did was to throw them as far away as she could! That just doesn't seem like what a Sith (or even a Dark Jedi) would do to solve the problem.

 

True. A Sith would have tried to slaughter as many as possible.
