The prefect symbol then for someone to give their most recent impression on the NJO. :p

If you don't then your books will miss you and get lonely. Just don't forget about all of us either because we might miss you too. :p

Well Runner, now you make me feel like a fraud. I have never read the NJO series. :p

I read them book by book as they were released. How long ago was that? It would be like reading again for the first time almost. I only remember major spoilers.

You could just hire a beautiful woman have your wife read them to you. Would that make it easier?

    Laaaazy :p

It was a while ago Runner haha. I was quite young, but I've read them a few times since, always noticing more stuff. I'll be interested as to how I think of them rereading for the first time in my 20's. (probably still in love with jag)

I need to make a list of all the things I'm saying all do when the kids get older. But I'll need lots of paper and ink.

I read them as they were released too. Don't feel bad. I pretty much remember only the huge events from the NJO and most of the other books too. Some I haven't read in fifteen or twenty years. Only my more recent reads do I remember. The NJO was such a huge undertaking.

Force Heretic 1 Remnant was the first book of the NJO that I read when it was released in 2003. I read Vector Prime a couple years after it was released 01ish maybe. I did read part of Dark Journey shortly after it came out from the Library.
I got those books out of order. Don't remember why. Got Star By Star last iirc.
LOTF I got all on time.

I read them entirely out of order, don't think I started until maybe the years before I joined here? Not sure, I was 13 when I registered and I don't think I got into SW novels until I was 10 or so, and even then it was YJK [face_love] Most of my books are in storage right now in preparation for moving, but I have most of the NJO. Perhaps it's time for a club-wide re-reading spree! We can discuss them as we read them again, or at least go over the events for those that can't?

I read them in order (mostly) and craved for the next book when I'd finished one!! I can remember reading them when my kids were babies, they'd be in the bath tub (toddlers) and I'd be sitting on the floor beside the tub with my book, watching them and reading!

I had read them in order and remember awaiting the release of each book. Some moments were intense like Chewie in Vector Prime and Anakin in Star by Star and talking with some of my friends during school about what happens and what might happen next.

It has been a long time since I've read them. I should probably re-read them again soon… or after I clear out my current backlog of books.

I've been trying to collect the whole series but I think I'm still missing a few. I forget what a long series it is lol. I think I've got at least the first 6 so I'm definitely up for a reread.

Question: if you could have one actor/actress play your favorite Jedi from the post-ROTJ EU in the Sequel Trilogy, even if it was by name only, who would it be? For me, it would be Jaden Korr and he would be played by Josh Dallas–bearded or not, either one would fit Jaden.

Not familiar with him, but if he can act, then he certainly looks the part.
