Jaina and Jacen have brown hair, the same brown as their eye color. At least in YJK.

 

They both do have brown hair, yes. Must get it from their parents.

That has some nice angularity to it, comradepitrovsky.

 

It's the red dress from Hapes she had in NJO.

Too bad we didn't get a novel featuring Jaina and Jag dealing with courtly intrigues in the Empire.

 

So much room for more stories.

 

I always thought there was a dearth Jaina-Jacen adventures post DNT-I don't know fighting pirates or solving planetary disputes, but they have this unique precious bond but we don't see that in action very often at least post NJO.

 

If there was Junior Jedi Knights and Young Jedi Knights, that could have been... Twentysomething Jedi Knights? The twins are struggling to find affordable housing and solve the gentrifying crime lord crisis on Coruscant. I'd read it.

 

Jaina and Jacen find that the two guardsguys have moved into selling overprice coffee.

 

Yep, she was 16 when she got into the Rogue Squadron, at the start of the Vong War.

 

Sorry for the double post, but NJO fans might be interested in the l=newest podcast from the Tosche Station, "Vongcast", featuring NJO re-read, one book per month.

I've been doing a sloooow re-read in between reading bazillion other things, but after I saw this on twitter, I have decided it's good excuse as any for an NJO book per month, so I'm definitely joining them

 

Listening to it now.

 

Will definitely check out! I started doing a reLISTEN earlier this month. Midway through Balance Point now. Up until now the audio books have been great, despite being abridged, but I'm not really feeling the Balance Point narrator. He's got a Boston accent that is very distracting haha.

 

Never got much into SW audiobooks. Prob cause of the lack of consistency in narrators. ASOIAF was great for sticking to Roy Dotrice. Unfortunately he passed away last year, so they're have to find somebody else when The Winds of Winter comes out. Big shoes to fill.

I still have beef with one of NJO narrator's pronunciation of Vergere, can't remember exactly which book. "Ver-jeer." IDK if that sparked those millions of threads in early-mid 00s on her name being Ver-gear or Ver-je-ry.

 

Yeah, I think the first pronunciation is in Agents of Chaos 1 and it's "Vergare" with a G. And in Traitor, I'm pretty sure it's "Verjeer" with a J. I pretty much accept the latter pronunciation.

I don't know, there's something about the voices and the SW sound effects in the audio books that I really love. Love hearing the hum of the lightsaber and the space battles.

 

I always pronounced it Ver-zjeer. A sort of s or z then j sort of sound. Or ver-sjeer?

 

Doth mine eyes deceive me or am I seeing an NJO based (granted in an "alternate" NJO universe) RPG started over in the role playing forum?

 

Would love to, but I don't have the time.
