    >>Hi all I just wanted to say hello and that I am happy to be apart of
this group. I am a big star wars fan and wanted to know if any of
you out there are also a fan of the novels? I am currently reading
New Jedi Order Series with the Yuzaan Vong and wanted to
know if anyone else is also reading this series?

    Steve,

I'm reading the series, too, though I haven't read every book and I haven't picked up Star by Star yet. The series as a whole has been very gripping and well-written, and some of the directions the writers have gone in have been very exciting and daring. What do you think of it so far?

    Welcome to the Boards Adam.

I have read all of the NJO books but Star by Star, I bought the book, but I do not know when I will start reading it.

Also new to the group, but eager to contribute. Read all of the books and generally like everything except for some of the goings-on in the Star by Star book which can all be explored in the Literature thread under the Expanded Universe section on the forums... (though I found that book to be one of the best WRITTEN books)...

I too have read all of the NJO except SbS. I am a little reluctant to start it because I know the spoiler involved. Needless to say I am a little angry. [face_plain]

I've been reading the NJO and have just finished Star by Star. It was a good book overall but I'm also a bit upset over the big spoiler... I pretty much buy the books they day they come out and start on them that day as well... You won't believe the trouble I've had with Manhattan Barnes and Nobles not bring the books out on their pub dates! They always have to dig them out of the stock room for me at 7pm!

Yes, the major spoiler -- "Jimmy" if you will -- is the large majority of what I have issues with. I've been a big proponent of the "ways the spoiler might not be true" and "ways the spoiler could be ignored" threads in the EU: Literature sections. I just don't see the logic of it...

I got to the spoiler part of the book yesterday, I think it will work out in the end.

    **Highlight to read, spoiler.**
Kind of like when Luke lost touch with the force and they thought he was a goner. I think this will be handled the same way. I don't think Anikan is dead but he is sort of in a comma.

If anyone posts the spoiler where I can see it, They will be destroyed.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind if the spoiler part of the book turned out OK in some way. I don't know if it's gonna happen though. :(
