Not bad. I imagine you could probably duplicate that effect in Photoshop. Nice job!

 

Thanks for the reply. I did get similiar results in photoshop, I just prefer using the Gimp. And another reason all my tutorial are for the gimp is, have you tried looking lightsaber tutorials in the gimp? Awhile ago I found one tutorial and a plugin for the gimp.
