This is nothing more than some spoilsports trying to hijack another group's site and name because some stupid petty fannish politics set them off against one another... it's embarrassing and immature...

The REAL TSWCG is right where it's always been - right here...

No, what it is is members (4 of us infact) getting tired of people like the previous poster who is too immature to be able to post. We were sick of the bickering and elitest attitude. Welcome to the new tswcg. Besides we own the url's.

TSWCG II: Attack of the Clones

The drama from TSWCG has washed ashore here several times over the years, but this particular debacle is the most amusing yet. I understand that the people in groups will ocassionally fight and bicker and go their separate ways, but please keep the childish stuff on the playground where it belongs. I have no ill will against either group and I hope they both do well and thrive, but in my opinion if you don't like the environment and treatment one group gives you, why make a new group and name it after the one you don't like? It just makes no sense to me, and on a different note, am I the only one getting a good chuckle out of this?

 

LMAO!!! I like that. No, you not the only one getting a good chuckle about this.......unoriginal? yep. Also not very productive in my opinion.

Putting all personal feelings aside I am afraid this might just confuse some so I want to make sure all are clear.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation being spread and to maintain the integrity of the ORIGINAL TSWCG I feel I want to clear things up...


......the original Tennessee Star Wars Collectors Group is at http://www.thejawa.net/tswcg/index.php this has been the TSWCG for over the last 3 years and probably always will be.

The site mentioned in the first post here was made by a member of the original, apparently because he and a few others weren't happy with the way the original was ran. Being very unoriginal, they copied the name and pretty much the logo and started a new site.

I just want to make sure that people are clear that this "NEW" TSWCG is more of an "adult site" since they have some pornography and adult themes....not what a SW themed site should be in my opinion.

NO biggie, just wanted to make sure that people who read the first post here were clear......

JarJar, sorry that this childishness has spread on your forum. This is all I will say about this over here......sorry it spilled over. (Will try my darnest to stay out....LOL)

 

I've posted over at the old tswcg for a while. The new one is far superior. I suggest that you guys go and decide for yourself.

Really? Been there for a few years now....don't recognize you. (But that could be due to the fact that you might be trying to hide who you are by using annonimous accounts and e-mails). I apologize in advance if this assumption is incorrect.

Seems awful convenient that out of the blue a new member shows up....never had anything to say here before and now that this all is going on you appear? And the annonymous e-mail/account doesn't help much to a new members validity.

But I do agree with you....anybody that has doubts should go check them out themselves.....

Admins, I apologize. Not trying to make this into a drama but can't let people come in and give our board a bad name by giving false info. This spreading of misinformation has been going on on many other SW boards too.

I have tried to be respectful of other boards in TN by not trying to "step on their toes" by promoting our site on yours. Don't think it's very cool. But will not stand back and watch somebody lie or mislead others in regards to our board.

I will try to leave it at this.

 

Funny, I don't remember a K9-Rod over there either, maybe you're a fake too. Man, did you ever think that maybe I just used a differant username. I've actually been a member of the other board for quite some time now. I think it's obviious to everyone who can read your posts who it is that's an argument starter. You seem to be quick to discredit this other site when you feel threatened by it.
