Buff, NY New Member Costume Meeting/Workshop

I'd like to have new members come over to our house to discuss costumes needed, look at material,etc. Thought a Sunday afternoon might be good.

Looking at the 17th, 24th or 31st. Let me know what might be good for everyone.

Janice, would this include me with my Jedi costume request or would you prefer to keep this to just the new members?

 

Most sundays are pretty much wide open for me so I should be good to go

 

Any of those should be good for me, and I would definitely need help figuring out a Twi'lek costume, though I have some ideas!

 

I know I am interested in coming, my roommate Dave might be to! Just let us know the day!

Have a cheer competition that afternoon. Maybe we can come over afterwards, depending on the time, obviously.
Like to figure out what we are going to do with Ahsoka, take-in my CW and ROTS Anakins. I may be needing a new inner ROTS tunic/shirt, mine is getting a bit used/beaten. Maybe we can get some shoulder padding added to both the ROTS and CW?
Oh and Little Leia is getting small.

 

I've already talked this over with Janice, but I still need to adjust my sleeves and get a new fabric waist band. I've also talked to Dave B about creating some gauntlets to match my boots. We were going to look at a few things last week, but he couldn't make it up from Philly.

 

Thanks Larry and Janice for the chat about costumes last night. I won't be at the meeting as I will be doing my own
costuming. -Can't believe the all work you guys do!!! I am impressed!

 

I'd love to come over and discuss my Maul top. I'm going to e-mail my friend in PA and see if I can get the paterns.

 

Janice, since I picked out my material at the game night, should I still come over on Sunday or would that time be better spent with the others with more pressing costuming needs?

How did everything go?

 

I made it there and have most details figured out and Dooku train is a rolling... just like my head will be after Anakin(lisa) chops it off LOL
