New miniatures???

Really quick question...

What does everyone think of the new Wizards mini's line???

 

They look pretty nice, but I wish they were making classic-era ones. I missed out on the old WEG ones, like the Spacetroopers and stuff, and I wish WOTC'd come out with classic ones.

 

There are far, far too many humans.

I think it would be cool to seea female Twi'Lek scoundrel, at least one alien miniature for each player alien mentioned in the core rules and some classic trilogy things, like Stormtroopers.

I'm actually kind of glad they're at a bigger scale to the old miniatures, My eyes just aren't as good as they used to be.

They're the same scale... 30mm...

 

They're a larger scale than the old WEG minitures.

THis is why I am thankful.

They are 30mm while the old West End are 25mm... and knowing wizard, they are going to make minis for anything that is currently a picture.... in the core book.

 

My preview Darth Maul mini dwarfs my cantina alien set from WEG <grin>

I need to paint them all though.. maybe when I get to school and can get some medical coverage for glasses.

I think that the minis are ok-ish looking. But untill WOTC puts out Stormtrooper minis I'm just going to use my Warhammer 40K Space MArines converted up alittle to look like Stormtroopers.

 

Works for me... my WH 40K army has an attachment of Stormtroopers... they look scary next to my Imperial Guard... ANYWAYS...lol.

You know where I could get some old WEG Stormtroopers?

 

I like the minis, I have 7 of em. I need to paint some of them though.. I think the jedi are the best ones!

 

Ebay is your best bet for minis... or you local comic shop's bargain bin.

 

I didn't get the Darth Maul mini he would've been so cool
