    MINISODE II

    FORCE ECLIPSE

The threat of the Sith is spreading throughout the galaxy. For each dark warrior who falls, another takes their place. Silently, the Sith are infiltrating the Core worlds ? closer and closer to Coruscant, heart of the Republic, and the seat of power for the Jedi.
Master Kae-Din Quan and his son Trao-Din have earned a great victory against the Sith Lord known as Darth Impervious. Along with Master Tawan-Reii, they return triumphantly to Coruscant, and make their report to the Jedi Council. Trao-Din, formerly a padawan, is granted the rank of Jedi Knight in recognition of his actions.
The Council has received an urgent distress signal from Jedi Knight Kynna Vandar, who has uncovered a smuggling operation. Master Kae-Din and his son are dispatched to ensure her safety, and assist with any emerging threats. The origin of the transmission is the mysterious moon of Nar-Shaddaa, beyond the Outer Rim. The two Jedi fly deep into Hutt Space?

    SCENE 1: Approach to Nar-Shaddaa

Pan down to show wide view of Nar Shaddaa from space. The surface of the moon is dark, bluish purple. Below and beyond we see Nal Hutta, the massive desert planet, similar to Tatooine. A ship appears out of hyperspace, and heads for Nar Shaddaa, as the view pans towards the moon itself.
Switch to Cockpit view, over the two Jedi?s heads. Nar-Shaddaa grows larger and larger, filling the view.
    TRAO-DIN: ?That?s some moon.?
KAE-DIN: <pointing down> ?Tiny by comparison. Nal Hutta is the epicenter of the Hutt criminal empire. Nar Shaddaa is just a spacedock to them. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. <disgusted look> ?We must be cautious.?
    TRAO-DIN: ?I understand, father.?
They continue their descent, as clouds envelop their small spacecraft. Coming through the clouds, we see the sprawling megacity that is the Nar Shaddaa surface. The Jedi ship weaves and dodges through the metal structures, and lines of traffic run every which way in between tall towers. Soon, the ship lands on a small platform, and we see the two small forms of the Jedi as they make their way to a nearby docking bay door. It slides open, and they disappear from view. Pan up to the foreboding skies. Wipe.
    -END OF SCENE-

SCENE 2: The Old Jedi Mind Trick

The Jedi are walking in the streets of Nar Shaddaa, where the nature of the city is truly revealed. Beggars line the sides, and hooded figures lurk in every alleyway. All eyes are fixed on the Jedi, who are not well loved by bounty hunters and their ilk. The Hutts and their allies have killed many Jedi already by this point. They do it indirectly, through their subsidiaries, and nothing can usually be proven. But a smart Jedi knows well to watch their back in Huttspace. Trao-Din glances sadly at the surroundings.
    TRAO-DIN: ?These people are suffering.?
    KAE-DIN: ?I know, son. But w
