I just finished writing the script for my movie..."Jedi Brotherhood" (I don't know if someone used this title already)and now i'm running a little casting here in Uruguay....I already have 6 actors. I will soon upload some Lightsaber tests.
But right now, what do you guys think about the title?

How about "Brotherhood of the Jedi"? ;) (Don't really use that)

It sounds a little awkward, but I can't put my finger on why. Maybe its just me.

But just beware that "of the" is used alot and not many people like titles with "of the" in it.

A [space] LOT, not ALOT, A LOT, never alot. Sorry, done ranting.

People dont like "of the", but, who cares.

Actually "alot" is the Colloquial usage, which I think is acceptable here. "a lot" is required for formal writings such as reports, buisness letters and essays.

It's always best to use "a lot", but in some cases "alot" is fine (though frowned upon).

No! please, I beg you not to use 'of the' in your title. Please, think of the children!

*Whispering Death procedes to go into the fetel position and quiver until some one kindly reminds him that putting 'of the' in a title isn't the end of the world. He then procedes to change his soiled pants and thank the kind stranger*

Remeber kids, don't go to the dark side, keep 'of the' out of your title.

And another things.....(this is an Off Topic comment, but hey, i posted this in first place :p)

I recently read JediTAC's post, and what I have to say is this....I am a newbie, I did asked some dumb questions :p but i never felt offended by JediTAC or sombody else. When something sounds strange to me, i do ask if they are talking in a serious way or joking, cuz sometimes I can't tell. But hey...i'm not here to bother you guys, i'm here to share my ideas and learn from you guys(at the FAQ and the tutorials :D )
    Ok, I bellive that's all.

The title "Jedi Brotherhood" is fine..."Brotherhood OF THE Jedi" sounds better, BUT...I think we've all had our fill of "OF THE" in titles.

Simply adding "The" to the title, thus: "Star Wars: The Jedi Brotherhood" sounds good to me...but, hey, it's your film.

Lunatic_Pandora...I LOVE that title! Can't wait to see that one!

Star Wars: OF THE...that's brilliant! What about War of the Stars?

Back on topic, I think that Star Wars: The Jedi Brotherhood sounds good.

Hey, if you're making it in Uruguay, does that mean it's going to be in Spanish, I can see it now...

    "Luke, yo soy tu padre"
    "No es verdad, es imposible"

Actually, the movie is going to be in Spanish.

And for some reason "The Jedi Brotherhood", "Brotherhood of the Jedi" or "Jedi Brotherhood" sounds bad in Spanish, so I will chance the title.

    The new name will be...
"A Lot Jedi of the hood" :p LOL
