You saw Blade Runner for the first time last year? :(

I remember seeing it for the first time back when it was released in 1982, it is my all-time favourite movie and I love all versions. (Showing my age now!) ;)

It had always been on my to watch list and after years and years of being told to see it… a friend lent me the Director's cut. It was good seeing Harrison Ford again and recognised a few others in it too. Also made me feel like watching the first two Alien films again.

Ahh, I would have to pick the extended version of Gladiator as my all time favourite Ridley Scott film.

I am still yet to see Blade Runner...

Go see Mad Max: Fury Road. I haven't seen any of the Mel Gibson ones but this was bonkers and brilliant!!

After seeing Age of Ultron I had no desire to have a repeat viewing at the cinema. Once was enough. But MM:FR demands to been seen multiple times at the movies. I intend to see it al least 2 more times!

Oooohh…. when I get a change I'll give Mad Max: Fury Road a go then.

Oh yeah, that reminds me…another film I finally got to see for the first time recently was The Princess Bride. It was fun and quirky, now I finally get all the references when people quote it. :p

So Terminator Genisys isn't out until the beginning of July but there is a Special Advance Footage Screening of Terminator Genisys with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jai Courtney this Thursday at the cinemas at George St.

I just so happened to win a free double pass to the event. I don't think it is the whole film though, perhaps just an extended preview?

That would be awesome! Nice one scoring that.

It should be the whole film since it is near release date. Mind you, some films do work up till the last minute…

Come to think of it, Jurassic World had their world premiere the other night in Paris and that got a fair bit of positive reactions to it. Maybe they are doing the same with Terminator.

Yeah I managed to get an advanced screening ticket to Terminator for the Monday before release, so I'm pretty sure my screening will be a theatrical release screening.

That be awesome to go to. There has been some positive remarks from James Cameron about the film that got me wanting to see it.
Be sure to let us know how it is.

I am aiming to see Jurassic World this coming weekend or sooner, still up in the air at the moment on which day.

I've saw Jurassic World, the 3D IMAX session no less.

    Non-spoiler verdict:
As a long time fan of the series, it felt like they were respectful of what came before while also standing on their own ground. I loved it, I came away quite pleased with what they did.

Quite a few times I want to give the animals a hug.

Very keen on seeing which direction they will take it now.

Saw Jurassic World not to long ago, really enjoyed it.

Works well as a stand alone, or as part of the original.

Some new dinosaurs, and some old favourites.

Looks like I missed out on seeing Mad Max: Fury Road but it's on my to get list when it arrives on Blu-ray.

Next up, I'm hoping to see Terminator: Genisys and Ant-Man.

BTW anyone seen the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Comic-Con Reel? I'm getting very excited about this!!

MIssion Impossible: Rogue Nation was terrific, better than 4 I thought. I still prefer MI:3 though.

I've only seen the first MI and that was not bad. Surprised they are up to 5 already. I still haven't seen anything new since Jurassic World so I missed out on Mad Max and Terminator but there might be a chance to see Ant Man.

I am keen on seeing Bridge of Spies and The Martian and hope to catch them when they come out.

That's unfortunate. They are working on a sequel to steer it back on track apparently and can't remember if they announced that it will connect with the X-Men films. Not sure how I feel about that but am looking forward to X-Men Apocalypse.

The Man From UNCLE - takes a while to forget Henry Cavill was Superman, but the film is very stylishly shot, lots of good action, decent comedic moments too.

    Better than MI Rogue Nation.

Son saw Ant Man tonight, said it had its moments but not the sort of movie he'd pay to see again. Loved Jurassic World. Cinderella had amazing costumes....but I actually expected a surprise 'twist' or change from the original story....but was disappointed.

But Cinderella had more of it to enjoy even though it didn't deviate much from the core story… it had more meat. Kinda glad they did not do a Maleficent on it. The artistry is just amazing and hope the quality carries over into Beauty and the Beast.

I had hoped to see Jurassic World one more time but didn't happen.
