I tried to get my son interested (he's 5) but he just shrugged, he's more into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters.

We watched a couple of movies the other night. Secret Life of Pets and The Legend of Tarzan. We both enjoyed Tarzan, not so much Secret Life of Pets though.

Funny, my wife saw both those and said Secret Life Of Pets was great and Tarzan was a bit boring. Neither look all that appealing to me.

My current list of anticipated films -

    1) Rogue One (naturally!)
    2) Passengers
    3) Doctor Strange

Secret Life of Pets is growing on me now since my daughter watches it all the time.

Movie sessions times at my local cinemas are disappearing very quickly. Up next for us (If we get there) are Doctor Strange and Jack Reacher 2. We saw the new X-Men the other day, thought it was terrific but not as good as Days of Futures Past.

Got to see Inferno! I think Ron Howard did a great job adapting the book to film.

Also hope that Assassin's Creed turns out well as it has potential.

The new Logan trailer looks awesome. Sad to think this is the last time we'll see Hugh as Wolverine and probably Patrick Stewart as Xavier.

I know! It does look great though bittersweet about the last time.

Never say never thought as maybe they can do smaller parts in the future if they feel like it.

Watched X-Men Apocalypse the other night, not bad, definitely not as good as Days Of Future Past though.
Also watched Jon Favreau The Jungle Book, having grown up going through Scouts I know this story & the characters very well and thoroughly enjoyed this adaption.

Haven't actually been to the movies since I saw Suicide Squad, just haven't had the time.

Some impressive new trailers out lately:

Logan (Wolverine 3) definitely looks like Jackman's swansong for the character.
Assassins Creed looks interesting, not being a gamer I don't know too much about the game but it looks good.
John Wick 2, loved the first so looking forward to this.
Hacksaw Ridge, I love Mel Gibson's style of directing so I will definitely be seeing this also want to catch him acting in Blood Father.
And of course Rogue One, the more I see the more I am really looking forward to this. I really hope it brings back some of the nastiness to Vader after the prequels all I see him as is a whinging teen.

I saw Jack Reacher Never Go Back on the weekend. It was good, preferred the first but only just. Both solid movies.

I wonder if the books are good.

I am keen on seeing this but no idea when it will come our way.

That's not too bad with the delay. Something to look forward to at the start of the year along with Moana and Assassin's Creed.

Saw Doctor Strange last week and was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed this origin story, much like the first Captain America movie. I think the fact that I didn't know too much about this Marvel character helped too. Got shivers when the Rogue One trailer played too!!

Not sure what I'll be seeing next, probably Fantastic Beasts.

Looking forward to Underworld: Blood Wars (I am a fan of this series), Arrival, Kong: Skull Island (looks very 70's), Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (loved the first one) and a heap of others most I'll probably have to wait until they come out on Blu-ray just isn't enough time to see everything I want to.

We saw the new Jason Bourne the other night. It wasn't too bad but it's the weakest of the Damon movies. Damon still great in the role, some good car chases but the actions of certain characters left alot to be desired.

I've picked up Jason Bourne but yet to watch it yet.

Is Finding Dory better than the original?

Saw Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them the other night, thoroughly enjoyed it too. The lead character, Newt Scamander, was instantly likeable as was No-Maj baker, Jacob Kowalski. Liked the inclusion of magic in everyday life tasks which I don't think they used enough in the Harry Potter series. As I haven't read the book I really didn't know what the story involved. Absolutely loved the score from James Newton Howard, it had essences of the original John Williams themes throughout.

Next up is going to be Rogue One: A Star Wars Story although I can't make a midnight screening as I'm working night shift so it'll be on the Friday for me.
