FF:NSW New Movies thread!!

There is a lot to digest.

It would be interesting to see where things will go, things won't be the same again for the MCU. I guess all they need is Kitty Pryde and the Wolverine (or Bishop and Cable) for a Days of Future Past event or something… though that's just me wishing to see an X-Men crossover.

Caught that little indie flick "Solo" on the weekend, was pleasantly surprised.All these "Fanboys" saying they're going to boycott it are really missing out!

 

I'm glad we all got to see it and enjoyed it. I want to see it again though Incredibles 2 is happening soon.

With news of a Boba Fett film, I wonder if there be some overlap with elements and who will play the role?

 

Have they actually "Officailly" announced the stand alone Boba Fett movie yet?

 

Nothing on the official page that I can find though apparently an exclusive from THR that James Mangold and Simon Kinberg is onboard to create the film. Of course, that news has spread rapidly.

 

Will be interesting to see what direction Lucasfilm now take with any future "stand-alone" Star Wars movies given the apparent lacklustre box office for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Hopefully they'll start to listen to what the fans want and we'll see that "Obi-Wan" movie we so desperately need and want.

Personally I rather enjoyed Solo, but Star Wars fans are a fickle bunch and easily offended by the littlest things!

 

I want to see Solo again.

I did get to see Ocean's 8 and I loved it. Thought it was nicely done and the cast was great.

Looking forward to Incredibles 2 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

I saw the advance screening of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom last night and loved it! I hope you do too!

 

Saw it yesterday and loved it too. I only had two issues with the movie overall, everything else was pretty spot on. I'd say it's definitely my third favourite in the franchise behind JP and TLW.

 

I went to see Incredibles 2, cos why not xD. It was pretty good. You wouldn't have been able to tell it was 14yrs since the first one xD

 

Agreed, I saw Incredibles 2 and loved it! Very well done and clever. I really want to see it again.

I did and loved it. I thought it was well done and the cast was great too.

 

While I was watching I2 I saw the trailer to a new Wreck It Ralph movie and it looks pretty snazzy XD
(There was also some confusing dumpling short film at the start)

 

It was about some mother and her son leaving to get married...
I don't think that kids watching I2 would get it

 

The Bao short film was strange but it nice they are making the short films.

Wreck-it Ralph 2 looks like fun. I hope we'll get to see Mario in it.

 

Ye, it was confusing at first, but then I got the gist.

 

I ended up seeing the Incredibles again with someone who hasn't seen it.

It's fun seeing some of the things that was missed the first time through. I love the music, it really feels like it came from one of the old Bond films in places.
