According to this there will be a new novel that we have not heard of yet. Any ideas?

I'm just encouraged that they're approving anything at Del Rey.

I am hoping its a novel taking place either during the Dark Times or sometime in the Legacy Era (Comic Era). That would be aweeesome

If they've got the cover art already, that sounds as though it's been in the works for a while. Probably not related to Ep. 7 then. Hmmmmmmmmmm.......

I don't think it is the Kemp project since we know its supposed to come out.

I would hope for a post FotJ book leading into EP 7, but I doubt they had time to write a book since the EP 7 announcement. That being said, I hope that failing the Post FotJ era, then I would push for a New Republic Era or NJO book. Maybe they are bringing back Blood Oath...?

They said it's a book they haven't discussed and hasn't been revealed yet.

I think it would be awesome for either a clone of Thrawn or his child/grandchild to be a good guy and be Ben's friend and his Han Solo. Think about it, military tactician, make him good with a blaster, tactical genius, master of hand to hand combat. And then Ben... It could work

Funny, I read the article and just rolled my eyes. For some reason I'm not excited, at all.

A Mara-Jade and Jaina book would be amazing.

If it has anything to do with Dawn of the Jedi or The Old Republic, I will be bummed. At least the Clone Wars is safe since it is already far above full continuity wise. Dark Times I think they are leaving mostly for Underworld, so either post RotJ, OT, or A LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG time ago with characters I will never care about unless it is a Revan/Shan family.

Provided the rumor was true in the first place, my money is on Stover's RC. It would be long-enough in development to warrant cover art, and there's been no official discussion of its existence.

No more Clone Wars stuff unless its a Dooku or Palpatine novel like the Plagueis novel! The decades leading up to the PT are fine and the years leading up to AOTC are fine. I really want to see a novel on the start of the Separtist movement. Dark Times are good, Rebellion and New Republic eras are good. If they have a novel set during the Legacy comics that would be acceptable as well.
