The new filters were put into production today. The instrumentation will be finished soon. Then, according to the prophecy, I can sleep for 1000 years.

It was a bit like the water plant version of Fanboys. We'll be done by October, no wait, November. Oops! sorry it'll be December. Hey, we're gonna have to push it to January....

"Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed; the ability to power a city is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

j/k - Congrats! Here's to more free time!

    100% Drinkable!!! Sounds great!

Chuck, out of curiosity, is Mt. Vernon water cleaner than Evansville or Newburgh at this point with all of the new technology?

I do not rightly know. Newburgh uses riverbank infiltration but I don't know if they do any other treatment other than to dope it with chloramines. E'ville uses chloramines too. Evansville has an OLD system, it is essentially the same technology that I am using but but I have the 21st century version instead of the 19th (literally). I do know my product tastes better than theirs.

I've lived in Newburgh and Evansville and I personally like Newburgh water (although it's very hard) a little better. I lived on the west side of Evansville and it was pretty bad. Sometimes the Chlorine taste is stronger than other times. That's a hoot about how old their system is.
