New Republic Military Ranks?

    Which is higher, Colenal (sp.) or Commander. I think commander, but I maybe wrong.

    Colonel is higher, although it is in a different branch.

    Colonel is Army, commander is Navy. A Navy commander would be equal to an Army lieutenant colonel; a Navy captain would be equal to an Army full colonel.

    Here's a site where you can compare military ranks between different service branches of different countries.

    I've found it helpful in the past. :)
