    No.

You know, other than the whole Banesaber debacle, the thing that left me a bit cold regading this preview is that it looked pretty much like just more of the same for the Clone Wars. With the season 2 preview I was really pumped, it seemed the show was taking a huge step forward with much better animation, a grander scale, a darker tone with bounty hunters, etc. With this preview... what's really new? It certainly doesn't hint at there being any progress in the one area I wanted it the most: an ongoing, over-arching storyline...

If you don't like spoilers, turn away or don't read this page.
Warning: Possible, maybe not true but good guesses, spoilers alert.

It seems Boba Fett will return. I read in Boba ett novels, the third one, has Aurra Sing and she travels with Boba to some planet. In the next novel, I read that Boba asks to join Jabba the Hutt. I read on a blog at a friend's house and it said "The Hutts are now rivals. Boba Fett works with Jabba the Hutt as Ziro the Hutt hires Cad Bane." It seems pretty obvious that Cad Bane will work with Ziro since he freed him from prison. I don't thonk adding Rotta in the sequence would make it better. Yeah, look, some stinky, slimy Hutt coming back. We know he's Jabba's son, and so what? Okay, away from the Boba Fett thing, but I heard rumors he was in the Mandalorian armor.
It is good to see Dagobah again, and new things like that factory pace where Ahsoka kicks those new Mandos, the meditating room, Padm'e's apartment, and Tatooine. Kamino episodes look sweet, Asajj and Grievous working with Aurra Sing to destroy the clones. I like the new ARC-170's instead of V-19s. We get to see Grievous's new ship, the Invisible Hand. The Trident-ships looked tight, and I think Lama Su is back. I'll be back to give you guys more info.

The thing that caught me was the new super battle droids. They sort of look like the one's of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Video Game. These droids look awsome, and that's what hooks in the readers and viewers. My friend came back from a tour to New Mexico and told me of a Wonder Con thing he saw. He said, I'm not sure it is true, more like a lie, that Aurra Sing kills Ahsoka. I don't believe that at all, just because she saw her in her dreams. I hardly think it is necassary to put Aurra on Kamino, I mean, when does she work with the Separatists, except capturing the clone officer, Kilian, and Ponds. I hope we see more of Kilian, because he would make an excellent person to command a starfleet against a Separatist invasion. I was shocked to learn Ponds died, because he would fight right in an episode for Season 3.

Oh come on, Gry, we got "General Grievous is planning an attack" [face_laugh] [face_skull][face_skull]

I'm still hoping it's not really a full Season 3 preview and is really just a blend of the first 3 storylines.

I don't agree with this Bane-saber thing either. We know him as a tough Duro and kills Jedi like Ord Einsience and Bolla Ropal. He tricks Anakin and Ahsoka, steals a holocron, and even threatens the Jedi. Rarely, I don;t think a lightsaber does much. We all know Kenobi will get Bane this time. Besides that, I hope Bane will speak to Grievous. It would be nice for them to talk, you know, since they both know the same people. Bane knows Ziro and Ziro knows Dooku. Grievous knows Dooku who knows Ziro who knows Bane. Spoiler: Bane finds Helios-3D to help him again to find the droids that Ziro was looking for. Since Padm'e reported to C-3PO when she was imprisoned by Ziro, Ziro wanted payback for that droid. He sent Helios-3D to work with Bane and Toto, and bring it to him to be melted to scrap metal. Meanwhile, R2-D2 reports to the Jedi that he was droidnapped.

Wow, don't even go to Wikipedia or believe anything they say when it comes to TCW.

I have to agree with Gry, too, Garth.
Besides the first preview clip, nothing in these two season three trailers showed anything new or anything exciting. Mainly it got me angry at times. :p I'm not liking this whole Ahsoka's dreams, Bane holding a lightsaber, Bane working with Jabba after he freed Ziro in season one and we aren't sure if Jabba was behind that or not (which wouldn't make sense if he was), and Ahsoka's shoto lightsaber. With that said, I'm not looking forward to the season.

I know, I don't trust Wikipedia one bit. I was looking for episode spoilers and I found that junk. Back to the preview.

There's this user named Xtro who saw Season 3 at the Egyptian Theater. I don't really think you can see Clone Wars episodes at theaters, but I guess they do. I heard Mace Windu takes control of a droid fighter, and it sounds like the 2004 version of the Clone Wars.

I know I'm right with Captain Rex dying. In the old version, he is an ARC troop, and on some planet he tries to find Anakin but gets shot by Separatist droids.

I will never understand it if Padm'e and Anakin have love moments. We've seen enough in Senate Spy, which was garbage. All there was was kissing, kissing, and more making out. Seriously, this is war time! I hope in Season 3 they don't have that junk, because it means it will be a boring episode. I mean, it is OKAY some of the time they kiss, and adding Rush Clovis ruined the episode. Romance in Star Wars grew, you never saw enough in Season 1. The only Season 1 episode with romance really was Blue Shadow Virus, and there was a little bit in Mystery of a thousand moons. I think that mushy stuff isn't good publicity for TCW, and a cosmatic drama is less viewers. It looks to me sometimes Ahsoka is falling in love with Anakin, and it seems like kissing time. I hate romance in the Clone Wars.. But Lott Dod was a nice touch for Senate Spy and so was Cato Neimodia. If it is gonna be romance, just be something else besides kissing the whole scene.

Are there going to be any lightsaber battles that involve a fatality? Other than the one Grievous pulls off, we don't see enough lightsaber battles that don't end with someone running away and both surviving.

I know some spoilers, but not like those ones. Spoiler: When Ventress and Anakin battle on Kamino, Asajj uses the Force on some piece of crude and swings it at Anakin. Anakin uses the Force on it but Ventress runs. Anakin chases her outide and Asajj and Anakin fight some more. Then, one of the Trident ships swoop in and blast the platform, and like in Episode II, Anakin hangs on something as Asajj flies away like in the movie on a Vulture Droid.

As a matter of fact, I do.

My friend went to this carnival in Canada and they showed a sneek peek of Season 3. He recorded it on his phone and showed me it, and some people who are huge Star Wars The Clone Wars explained and he did with me. So that is my main source. If it comes up as false, my friend never lies.

The guys my friends heard were just talkers, not Clone Wars directors or specialists. My friend told me they also said we'll see (I hope my friend wasn't making up this stuff, because it would be a good storyline) lots of Aurra vs. Ahsoka, and on Dagobah, Ahsoka saw Aurra and she ran, and thats like on the fifteen second mark on the first preview where she has her saber out and is breathing hard. If my friend lied, that would be tragic. Our only hope is to watch the season and see the truth.

I, as well, hate when TCW adds characters with lightsabers. Look at Lightsaber Lost from S2. That wasn't good, just a chase for a lightsaber. Serisouly, for a information bank at the bottom of an episode guide for Legacy of Terror, they show Luminara's lightsaber and saw the old one looks like Plo Koon's. No one even cares! Season 2's main horro was the lightsaber, and the same thing happened with Hostage Crisis. Anakin forgot his lightsaber and Padm'e had it. A Jedi should keep there saber at hand, and it also happened in Republic Heroes: The Video Game with Koon and Kenobi losing their sabers. I think it better that each Jedi keeps their saber and not let someone else take it.
