Do u uk fellas still have red dwarf on tv that show is the best

 

Unfortunatley ARR, it's not on at the moment (although it probably is on satellite). It looks like they're gonna show the whole run on BBC2 in May.

I think they are making a movie version, I don't know if it's for TV or cinema. I hope it's good, sometimes films of sit-coms are BAD!!!

I've got the lot on video, I love it!

For those interested, I just saw a promo-advert for Enterprise, the Star Trek prequel starring Scott Bakula (who used to be in Quantum Leap) - it's "coming soon" to Prime TV!!

 

wtf prime???

oh, Buzz, i read last night Channel 9 or 7 from Aus is buying into Prime, and changing their programming to something more akin to theirs........and from memory thats like channel two or three.........

 

Could be. ALL the promo-adverts are saying "coming soon to the all new Prime".

Unfortunately, Prime isn't available in many areas, unless you go through Sky.

yeah my parents got a uhf aieral instaled so prime is crystal clear

 

We've got a roof aerial, but for some peculiar reason the picture on my small portable is a lot clearer than the one on the bigger lounge TV - especially TV One and Prime. They're both tuned in as best as possible. I've never bothered to look into it more than that.

It also gets a shadow on all channels on both TVs, which is a bit annoying, but that's what we get for living in a valley.

 

My Prime is pretty much perfect, though we're just using average arieals. But TV2 is not very clear, it's got multiple images, and sometimes it looks quite bad.

 

i got prime (and channel9) perfectly pretty much all the time in dunedin, and the main 4 channels were ****

 

Got Sky
so get all channels in digital so all clear except when it is raining hard

 

All my channels r clear cause of the uhf aerial

 

not that it matters, where i live there is only 3 channels on offer

not till i move to wellington, go saturn

 

I would get Sky but mum would make me pay for it. You'd think living in Central Auckland the reception's gotta be good.

 

Ok, how on earth does the best damn series of Star Trek since The Next Generation get put onto Prime? Why didn't TV4 buy the rights to it? Oh well, I guess I'd better fix my prime reception.

Make sure you watch that show, it rules.

 

raz...prime has some good shows, but as we were discussing at the top i heard Channel 9 or 7 from australia has purchased a controlling stake and plans to radically alter the programming

 

At one stage TV4 were trying to get Enterprise, but they obviously got beaten by Prime (and co.).

Enterprise seems to be getting mixed reactions in the Usenet newsgroups - but most people agree that the theme tune is awful (there are a couple of web-petitions to have it changed).

We'll see for ourselves "soon".


Whether or not you get good Sky reception depends on where you are. There's dark or dead spots all over the place, but they're mostly small and often fixed by a decent aerial.

We used to get reasonably good sound (and pictures when it was occassionally free/unscrambled) at our old house with rabbit ears, but I haven't tried it here.

 

Trust me, when you see the first part of the show and that theme song comes on, you'll want to turn your TV off and never hear of the show again. But then when the guy from Quantam Leap shows up everything's OK, and then by the time the pilot episode is over, you're going to be saying "This is too cool to be Star Trek"
