Our congregation of Jedi have been online with a Yahoo Group for a little over three years now and we finally decided to build a web site. The site is very clean and built around the content. What I like about the site is it's easy to navigate, easy to print from and the content is searchable. I wrote it in xhtml with CSS2 controling the style. I hope to add more style and more design later -- but I didn't want to "Force" it. :)

The Jedi Sanctuary is cool because there really is no one in charge. We don't have a high council, we don't have a advisors, we're just a group of people who have read a lot of Joseph Campbell in college and got together to discuss how we can use the Force in our everyday life.

The Jedi Sanctuary is a registered religious organization, but our members are from all religions. I hope you will all check it out! [face_peace] Thanks! -Jedi 7

It's very well organized. The scheme and style fit together very nicely. :)

I have worked on the design a bunch but now am worried about being sued into oblivion by Lucas LTD. (Found out no one is actually allowed to even use the word 'JEDI') I took down my wallpaper screen shots :( but I still have quotes, and images in my banner that relate to the movies. (not to mention the entire web site is run for and by fans!)

Please check out the new look and give me your opinion -- is this pushing the copyright infringement too far?? http://www.jedisanctuary.org

What's cool about the new look is I'm using PHP to rotate the images, put in the quotes and supply the date. Sooooo much nicer then javascript and SO EASY. This is my first real use of PHP throughout a web site and I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner.

I've checked it in Mozilla Firefox, Safari (Mac) and IE (of course), if you can crash it or break it please let me know.

Also if you want to use my style sheet or something go ahead, I worked really hard on it.

    Thanks -Jedi 7
