New (spoiler) Clone Wars commercial!

Has anyone else seen the new Clone Wars commercial airing on Cartoon Network?

It's promoting chapter 20 of the series (telling about the episode being extended, and which day it airs) and it shows a few scenes from the episode featuring General Grievous. The commercial doesn't fully reveal Grievous, though. He's mostly shown lurking in the shadows and hanging from the ceiling getting ready to ignite his lightsabers and drop down onto the Jedi. It has some cool commentary about the end of the Jedi approaching, too.

And the commercial also shows a bunch of the Jedi that will be fighting the good General. A couple of them were new, I think, but I did recognize Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Shaak Ti.

I saw the preview 3 times within an hour, so just tune in to Cartoon Network for a little while. You'll eventually see it. Or perhaps someone will be nice enough to record it and share it with the rest of us.

Sounds awesome. Hmm...did it play the Imperial March during the commercial? Because I saw one that had a voice-over similar to what you described, but I wasn't watching the screen the entire time...just listening. So I guess it's possible that I've already "seen" it...


I love the TV spots. They hype the show up very well, and it plays the Imperial March...which is always awesome and forboding. That theme, coupled with "The end of the Jedi is approaching", sends chills down my spine. Awesome.

 

We definately need a video of this. Has anyone captured it?

 

I've seen it, pretty AWESOME, can't wait for Chapter 20!

 

It starts off with a line that's something like "He is coming..." (if I remember correctly), and then it shows a close-up shot of Grievous' eye.

And I can't remember what theme was playing, sorry. It may have been the Imperial March. I was too caught up in the on-screen action to pay any attention to the music.

 

Does anyone have or know anyone with the technology to capture the video and host it?

Yea I saw it.

Being a non-spoiler person I have only heard of this character. I have no idea what he is gonna be like.

I look forward to seeing him in action.

It was nice to finally see Ki and Shaak in action. Saw the other 3 CW commercials as well. Very nice. I didn't know there is going to be a full 20 episode marathon next Saturday... might have to cancel some plans then

man, when i saw that i was amazed. i like the part where it shows that padawan scream like he's gonna rush grievous. i also liked the part where grievous stomped a different jedi's head into the ground! that's gonna be a kickass episode.

Oh man, I can't decide if I want to see chapter 20 or even this commercial. Being spoiler free I don't know if I should keep everything about Grievous a surprise or see the cartoon representation of him first. Argh
