The Yankees pwn all, theyve won the most World Series, and therefore by default theres going to be much more older media out there on them than any other team. And I'm not saying that because I'm a Yankees fan. The same probably goes for the Montreal Canadians, who if I'm not mistaken, and please correct me if I'm wrong won the Stanley Cup more times than any other team.

What the hell are you talking about? Ever hear of Ty Cobb, Stan Musial, Ted Williams, Bob Gibson, Sandy Koufax and the like? There is plenty of media on all the greats of baseball, unless you watch the al-Yankazeera propaganda network (YES).

You've never seen the Shot 'Heard Round the World? Perhaps the most famous moment in baseball? IIRC, two New York based teams played that game, but the Yankees were not involved. Please learn more about the game before making broad, ignorant statements.

And the only thing YES is good for is their simulcast of Mike & the Mad Dog. They don't even attempt to be objective otherwise.

i'm probably going start something to the effect of the MLB or NFL threads. maybe NCAA Basketball and NCAA Football as well

 

The first few days (and weeks) of the forum will not dictate what will end up being successful, and where. That will happen over the longer term and really, will be decided by how well the forum holds traffic. I think it's too hasty to say the JCC will continue to be where I want to discuss football, just as it's too hasty to say The Arena will be either. There will certainly be uncertainty at first, and a pull between the two forums (JCC & Arena), but over time the two will reach a balance and all will be well.

 

Will it take 6 episodes for this balance to occur?
