Hello, and welcome to the 2008 May New Stories Index for the Saga Board!

My name is lazykbys_left and and I'll be hosting this index until they pry my cold, dead fingers away from it.

This index will be updated daily with new fan fiction stories from this board for the current month. At the end of the month, this thread will be added to the master list along with those from the Before the Saga and Beyond the Saga boards.

New stories will be added to this list as I find them. Hopefully I won't miss any, but you're welcome to send me the info for your fic via private message. Also, it would help a lot if you would put the following information into the first post of your fic.:

The function of this thread is simply to list new fan fiction stories. If you need help in finding fics, please visit the Looking for fics? thread in Fan Fiction Resource. There's also a thing called the Link Machine which searches for words in the thread title.

I might still write that as a story, but that inspired this. This may be ongoing, perhaps not. My intent is to write this in a short period of time (an hour for this one) to catch the spirit of letters written in haste.

Title: Rise and Fall

Genre: Basic "epic". Bad guys gain control, good guys come and beat the living daylights out of them and bring good back to the GFFA. In addition, this is a major AU, so be warned, anything could happen. So, the whole "epic" thing has just been tossed out my window...

Summary: Someone you least suspect has been a Sith Lord masquerading behind a much gentler facade in order to gain control of the GFFA. Will the good guys come and save the galaxy or will everything continue to be dark and horrible?
Notes: I'm planning for this to have a happy ending, but then, nothing I have written, with the exception of humour, has ever had a happy ending, so don't be surprised if, when I finish writing this, everyone dies... Also, it's told in a pattern of flashback, present. This is something I'm experimenting with so, constructive criticism is definitely welcome on this one. Just a side note; I'm a bit apprehensive about the title, so if you can suggest something better, please do so! Please be aware that anything before Palpatine's arrest in ROTS, still stands in this story...

Title: Strength to Begin Anew

Summary: A strain in their relationship has caused Obi-Wan to accept a transfer to a satellite temple as well as receive training (only mentioned) otherwise not approved of by Qui-Gon. After a five year absence, Obi-Wan is forced back to Coruscant with no explanation as to why he's there. Yoda takes matters into his own hands.
Notes: I know this scenario has been done many times before, but this bunny bit and wouldn't leave me alone until it was written. This fic is a short story and does not go into detail about some things mentioned. The characters, Master Jedi Zarek Callen and Corwin Jai are my creations, though they're only mentioned.
