Hello, and welcome to the 2008 September New Stories Index for the Saga Board!

My name is lazykbys_left and and I'll be hosting this index until they pry my cold, dead fingers away from it.

This index will be updated daily (well, usually) with new fan fiction stories from this board for the current month. At the end of the month, this thread will be added to the master list along with those from the Before the Saga and Beyond the Saga boards.

New stories will be added to this list as I find them. Hopefully I won't miss any, but you're welcome to send me the info for your fic via private message. Also, it would help a lot if you would put the following information into the first post of your fic.:

The function of this thread is simply to list new fan fiction stories. If you need help in finding fics, please visit the Looking for fics? thread in Fan Fiction Resource. There's also a thing called the Link Machine which searches for words in the thread title.

Notes: HI guys and gals, AICN have just run a competition to re-write the final Duel from Sith so I thought I'd post my entry here. I wanted to stay fairly close to to some elements of George's vision but not so close to others. It should read a little like a short film version of a SW film, complete with it's own serial style crawl. Some ideas are taken from the ART of Sith book, some from the film itself, some from the vision of Anakin, Kenobi and Bail that had always been hinted at but not necessarily shown. Hope you enjoy!

Inspiration credits go to the L/V Writers Board and Mathematica over at ff.net, with further editing credits to Mathematica. Originally written for ff.net. I think some of you out there will like it anyway.

Exile would seem to mean giving up everything that it means to be a Jedi, but the Force and fate would seem to have other plans.....
Notes: This is based on asking a what if question that came up as I recently started reading I, Jedi again: What if Corran's real grandfather had survived the Clone Wars and Order 66? This is my take on what might have happened from ROTS onward. A big thanks goes out to my beta, NYCitygurl for looking over my work. I intend to post at least once a week, probably Saturday. Summary: Obi-Wan's "death" on Jabiim brought old truths to the surface, yet more are to be discovered. Counseled by Yoda, urged by the Force, to use love as a weapon of healing, what place does love have for two Jedi when healing is all but complete? Neither Siri Tachi nor Obi-Wan can remain untouched, but will they move past it or towards each others? Will Anakin Skywalker be changed in the aftermath as well, or will his anger at his master's captivity and mistreatment overrule his greater understanding of his master  can Palpatine continue to twist Anakin's inner reality?
Notes: Background buildup for this approach can be found in What the Heart Hides. The premise is that the Jedi Order has always forbidden attachment, the original meaning of which was an inability to let go. Unconditional love on a personal level came to be lumped with possessive love into the understanding of the present day Code. The Force has its own ideas, and does a true Jedi follow the Force, or the Code?
Notes 2: This is the GFFA. Morality is defined in this universe and while closely paralleling human morality (it is still best to do unto others as you would wish others to do unto you) it is set in a multi-cultural galaxy. "Pairings" may or may not be confirm to your personal beliefs.
