New story thread co-written with Jacinta_Kenobi

So.....are you leaving or what?

I'm gonna post where we kind of left off.

Jacinta looked at Clanya as the group filed out the door after Yoda's "briefing." She walked after her and called out.

"Hey, Clanya!" Clanya turned to look at her.

"Do you want to go get a cup of kaffe? I thought....well, maybe....you know, I could use all the friends I can get in this squadron."

Clanya smiled. "Sure. And I know just the place."

 

I'v got 5 minutes to work fast.

ok I know we are going to have to establish the following things.

1. How they met as kids

2.How old Jacinta is if Clanya is 17 in Flights of the Jedi

3.Some little adventures they had
4. How Vader captured Clanya

5. How Jaacinta got a padawan

this is all the stuuff we can work on because my sister needs the computer. But I will be on laer this afternoon.

IN EASTERN TIME!!!

 

"Sure" Clanya answered. It would be nice to have a real friend. But she was still afraid after 9 years of running of getting someone hurt. The people looking for her wouldn't mind hurting someone in order to recapture Clanya and throw her in a cage again.

Plus Jacinta , it seemed like had a past where she would want to lay low also for one reason or another.

 

Ok, well as far as I know, she's 5 years older than you.

I've got an idea. How about me and my master go with Qui-Gon when he finds you, and that's how we meet? I hope that's ok, that's what I'm going to write. If it's not, I can erase it.

Here goes.

 

Okay that's great. That would explain alot of things.

Jacinta sat staring in her cup. She wasn't sure what to say. For some reason, it was like she knew Clanya.

"So.....how'd you become a Jedi?"

Clanya swallowed a bit of Kaffe. "Qui-Gon found me when I was ten."

"What planet?"

Clanya hesitated, but answered anyway. "Chandrilla."

Jacinta blew her mouthful of kaffe on the a passerby. He turned.

"Hey! What's you're problem?"

Jacinta used the force on the man's mind. "I'm sorry."

"Well, as long as your sorry." He said and walked away. Jacinta laughed.

Clanya was suprised. "What's funny?"

"I love doing that! It's so funny!"

Clanya smiled.

"Clanya......I think we know each other. Think back. When Qui-Gon came, was anyone with him?"

"Yes.....come to think of it, Adi-Gallia was with him and she had her padawan. The padawan was a girl, and we were friends. I don't remember her name. We didn't see each other after that."

Jacinta swallowed the last bit of her kaffe, and sat forward.

"Clanya.....that was me."

Clanya started.

"I was 15 at the time. I remember, cause it was the one and only mission I got to go with Qui-Gon on. That girl was you! I can't believe I didn't remember you!"

Jacinta are you homeschooled?

 

Yeppity. I take my electives at Boise High School, but my regular classes at home.

 

After they were finished they decided to head home.

"So where do you live" Jacinta asked.

"Where ever I can really" Clanya answered.

"Oh. So you don't live at the temple" Jacinta asked.

Clanya shook her head no.

"Well see ya later" Clanya said as she headed down an alley way.

Jacinta waved. She then started to walk home thinking about the lost friend she had just found.

 

How was that? See I can post and do homework all in one night. Hey I can multy task lol.

Is being homeschooked fun?

A few years ago I was having problems with socializing at school and wanted to be homeschooled.Plus I'm advanced for my age because I started therapy and school at the age of 1 and a half because they thought my vision problem would making learning harder. But it didn't really make a difference because I have agood memory.

By my mom letting me be home schooled would she be making a good choice?

 

It depends on a lot of things, like how well you and your mother get along.

 

Ouch ok. That would certainly be interesting! Lol.

 

I know what you mean. I wake up thinking, OK troops, get ready to do battle, and remember, the enemy may be bigger than us, but it's strategy stinks.

LOL.

 

Jacinta walked into her room with a sigh. She didn't even bother to turn the lights on, just sank down on the couch.

She heard a familiar voice behind her. "Bad day, sis? No encounters with Yoda, I hope!"

Jacinta laughed as the light flipped on. "I'll never know how you manage to know just when I get back, and then you sneak in the door without my EVER hearing you!"

"Practice, my dear, practice. How else do I survive Anakin? That boy has ears in thee back of his head, and if I'm late and he's asleep, it only makes the slightest sounds to wake him up, and then BOOM! I can't get him to bed for the rest of the night!" She felt Obi-Wan come up behind her, and he gently massaged her shoulders.

Jacinta laughed. "Hey, Ob, I could really go for some tea about now, do you think you could procure some?"

"I think I can struggle through it."

Jacinta laughed again. Her brother knew exactly how to ease the tension. "Plain!"

Obi came back a few minutes later with a steaming mug in each hand. "So, what's wrong?"

"How do you know anything's wrong?"

"You never have your stim-tea plain unless you're upset."

"Nothing."

"Sis..."

Jacinta looked at him carefully. Sometimes Obi could be a little too persistent. "Goodnight, big brother."

Obi sighed, and took a few sips of his tea before standing and saying, "Goodnight, little sister." It was a ritual for them.

He put his cup in the sink and left. Jacinta leaned back with a sigh. Even Obi-Wan didn't know about her past, and she preffered it that way. Still, meeting with Clanya and realizing that she had a better oppurtunity of a family than Clanya ever had had brought quite a few questions up in her mind.

Questions she didn't feel like answering.

 

I'm working up to looking for my mother, Mayo.

Jacinta walked out of her room, ready to face another day. Today, her padawan was getting back form visiting her family, and she had to go pick her up. For some reason, the council had said that it should not be known that she had a padawan. Deza Cavaros was 14 years old, and she stayed in a different room so no one would suspect their relationship.

Jacinta still didn't understand why no one should know that she had a padawan, but figured that when the council thought she was ready for it, they would tell her. She shrugged it off and went to go get Deza.

 

Can we call this Old Acquaintances?

I was just thinking, and that seems to fit.

by the way.
I went to an irish dance competition on Saturday and got:

1st

2nd

3rd

4th

that was out of 8 dances. Needless to say I have a sprained ankle, swollen knees, and blisters all over my feet. Plus I had to wera a heavy hairpiece and a 7-layer dress made of satin, silk, and real velvet.

I had to wear it for over 10 hours. I started competing at 8am and didn't finish until 7pm.

 

Whoa.

But did you have fun other than that?

 

Kinda sorta.

I love dancing but I don't like the judge staring at me. It's reaaly unnerving.

I have a pretty good idea of what my next post(which will hopefully be up today) will look like.
