Just want to say hey guys. I'm new to the forums, but a longtime reader of TFN and spoilers (cant get enough of those). I live out in the Hartland/Delafield area and am a Highschool student. I also plan to head out to the midnight show at Westtown with about 5 buddies from school. Anyway, just wanted to say hello! :)

    Hello there D-man-

Let me be the first to welcome you. The Milwaukee,WI boards have been picking up steam as of late, so it's good to have you on board.

I don't know if you've seen any of the threads, but a bunch of us are going to be meeting up at the Milwaukee Art Museum on April 13 at 1:00. If you're interested, come on by. Otherwise it will be cool to have another fan here.

Yea, us old farts with children wouldn't understand the language of you young whippersnappers. Just kidding.
Welcome D-man, it is nice to see more people on the boards. We are all followers of the force so I think if you come to the meeting, we will find something to talk about. I manage to communicate with young que4zone on occasion without a translator.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I don't think I'll be able to make it to the meeting, as I work pretty much every weekend. Thanks for the invite though.

I actually found it rather interesting that while standing in line for TPM it seemed that 90% of the crowd consisted of 25-35 year olds and teenagers. There weren't a whole lot of fans outside that range.

I case you're wondering I am firmly entrenched in the 25-35 year old bracket. As such, I can remember heated debate in the years betweeen ESB and ROTJ - well before the age of the internet and spoilers - as to whether or not Vader was REALLY Luke's father. It was pure hell waiting for ROTJ to come out!

    Welcome D-Man!

I'm with Mauler and que in the 20-35 bracket (I'm 24), and I'll be showing up at the museum on the 13th too.

As for Ep II, I haven't decided where I will go and when (but it will be sometime on opening day, regardless). I stood in line for TPM at Southshore theater in '99, and after the film, (yes, after the film--security didn't seem to mind beforehand) my friends and I were promptly escorted out by security from the lobby, as some people supposedly complained and felt our toy blasters looked too real (even though there were only 3 other people in the whole lobby!). So I think I'll pass on dressing up...

Ok, must get back to work... must file these slides... *sigh*
