New to the EU

    Hello, there!

    I am new to the EU community and was wondering if I could get some recommendations of good reads to start off with? I have previously read the Thrawn series by Timothy Zahn and all the movie novelizations. I am very interested in reading the new series that is beginning with Betrayal, but I don't want to be confused by my lack of knowledge of the characters. Any input would be great!
